Amazing OB!

I am very frustrated (stated VERY mildly) at his service. He was the assistant surgeon for my wife's cesarean surgery and over-billed us by almost $1000 dollars and I have been fighting to get my money refunded for almost 6 months to no avail. I can't recommend his services to anyone because I think this is highly unethical. His office admits the mistake and that I am entitled to a refund but they just won't send it out for some reason.

NO NO NO! Dr Abu is a terrible Dr!!! I was stuck with him for a c-section after being induced. It says in my medical records that things were discussed with me that were never actually discussed ever. He sliced my cervix during the c section and then stitched me up anyways, and then proceeded to urgently call another dr in to see what he should do since I was internally bleeding. Absolutely horrible dr and horrible thing to do! NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL!

I was going to a midwife so I didnt have an OB/GYN. I went to 42 weeks pregnant and had to be induced and got stuck with dr abu. he was horrible the whole time. he was rude, didnt act like he cared and as soon as I started labor, he told me I would probably need a c section. so he didnt try too hard before he said I needed an emergency c section. So I signed off for the c section which was a mistake. He ended up tearing my cervix and then proceeded to stitch me back up. after he had closed up the incision he then had a thought that he should re open it and try to sew up my cervix because I was losing too much blood. luckily another doctor told him not to do that. he ended up stitching it up some other way. Recovery was horrible. I had lost too much blood so I had to get a blood transfusion. Then SOMEHOW, dr abu thought he had stitched up my cervix so I wouldnt have a period and thought he might have stitched my bladder closed. (how you can mess up that bad being a doctor for so… long is beyond me..) I had to go through millions of tests to make sure everything was fine. I dont think I ever saw him once after my c section and I was there for 4 days. and now, 15 and a half months later, Im still having pain where my c section was done. I had horrible pain up until my son was 13 months old and now the pain is slightly less, but still hurts when touched. I would NOT recommend dr abu to ANYONE. he writes moms in labor off and seems like he would rather make things easier on him than the moms who need it to be easy.
