Dr. John Michael Galasso, MD

I received treatment from Dr. Galasso for torn retinas as well as a retina detachment. He saved my eyesight. He is well versed in treatment of all types of eye problems and he keeps abreast of treating eye problems. I can’t thank him enough. Excellent doctor. I would recommend him in a heart beat.

My husband had retina detachments in both eyes along with multiple complications along the way. Dr Galasso was great at correcting each problem so now the vision is better than they expected. Would highly recommend him to anyone

John M. Galasso is outstanding doctor and surgeon! Two years ago I was diagnosed â?? severe retina detachment, so I could not see anything with my left eye â?? I was facing blindness with my left eye! I donâ??t think all ophthalmologists would now exactly what and what should be done in such very complicated case. But fortunately Dr. J.M. Galasso was highly recommended to me and I visited him in Eye clinic in Des Plaines. His professional approach and great experience gave me a hope. And then after four surgeries performed by Dr. J.M. Galasso during whole year my vision in left eye was returned to me. There was detachment in my right eye too and he performed two surgeries on that eye also. Now I can see so much better like several years ago-before that happened to me. And retina in my both eyes is in stable condition. I am writing this with confidence - he is the BEST ophthalmologist / surgeon ever known! NO doubt - 100% recommended to anyone with retina problems!
