Dr. John Robert Green, MD

If you do not qualify for.surgery then he doesn't want to treat you after making a diagnosis. I have called 3 days on a row requesting for him or his fellow to call me because I have some questions about my treatment that he ordered he has yet to return my call. I have cancelled my follow up appt and am seeking a new doctor that is actually concerned about my recovery

I am 50 years old. I have worked for a worlwide delivery service for the past 20 years and prior to that I worked as a local mover(12-16 hrs a day in the summer months.)for 12 years. Over the years my jobs have taken their toll on my joints. I have had numerous surgeries to keep me in the game: (L)knee, my (R)elbow, (2x) lumbar fusion, (R)shoulder/bicep tendon and 3hernias repaired. So when I came to Dr. Green complaining about the pain in my left shoulder, it was no surprise to me when he told me that there was a probability that I would need surgery. Dr. Green is not a DR who comes in with a, "joke-of-the-day" ...if you expect a "Dr. Oz", go see Oprah. I personally appreciate Dr. Green for who he is. He uses his time with the patient wisely but mainly because he is an expert in his field. Yes he is cordial and somewhat, "formal"... but what do you expect from a, "professional"? I appreciate that he does not mince words and that he does not waste my time with "small talk".… Anytime that I have something to say, he listens and gives me quality feedback. I will say this too,...that on the morning of my surgery, when Dr. Green spoke w/my wife and I, he was completely focused, as if it were his, "Game-Day"! What more could a patient ask for?!? One other quality I would like to mention is his "concern" for the patient. Of all my surgeries...I have never had a surgeon call me the day after surgery to see how I was doing. That in itself said a lot!. My shoulder is better than it was and my bicep tendon has bn re-attached successfully...so it's no surprise to me that he is a Texas SUPERdoctor!!! If you need a well-qualified Doctor/Surgeon... first trust God, then go see Dr. Green! You will be glad you did. Thank you Dr. John R. Green III M.D., Ada Montalvo, PA-C and staff!!!! Trey Green is a top notch orthopedist. Our whole family has been to him -- for broken bones, hurt knees, wrists, and surgery. Every time, he knows his stuff, or is able to point us to the city's top expert in the practice area.

I've been seeing Dr. Green for all my sports related injuries. He is always caring and knowledgeable. When I had surgery on my shoulder, the results were excellent! I highly recommend Gr. Green for any orthopedic need.

I think Dr. Green is a very caring person and an exceptional surgeon. He even called me at home the day after my surgery personally to ask if I was ok! I highly recommend Dr. Green.

I've injured my knee twice, and both times I've gone to see Dr. Green, he is a great Dr. and a great Surgeon, he fixed me up like new both times with no problems whatsoever, my recovery times are fast, and he has helped me both times every step of the way, and addressed any and all concerns I have ever had, his staff is all friendly, knowledgable and courteous and helpful, I would absolutely recommend him.

Dr. Green is an exceptional physician. He takes extra time and care diagnosing the problem and is an excellent surgeon. I highly recommend him to anyone with sports related problems.
