Dr. John Henry Healey, MD

I was originally referred to Dr. Healey as a young woman, at a time when all but one doctor thought my prognosis was incapable of improvement. He gave me hope, then he went to work. 30 years later I am alive and thriving. Yes, there were many difficult times and struggles, heck it's cancer, but Dr. Healey puts a team together and they put their heads together and they put their skills to work and I just had to show up and be positive. Trust in him!

I had a THR with Dr. HEALEY while in stage 4 Non Hodgkin's Lymphoma. He was so kind and caring and always explained everything throughlly and patiently answered all of my questions and concerns. One year later I barely have a visible scar and have full function and no pain! Dr. Healey is FANTASTIC and I was BLESSED to have him perform my surgery

I have been a patient of Dr. John Healey for 25 years. Dr. Healey is not just my doctor but a true family friend. Twenty three years ago my wife JoAnn and I got married and it would never have occurred if Dr, Healey and Dr. Ephraim Casper didn't work hard to save my life. Dr. Healey attended my wedding unfortunately I didn't get the chance to meet his wife but I understand that she is wonderful woman. I would tell anyone who has to see Dr. Healey please disregard the long wait in his office but remember it is well worth the wait. He is the most compassionate person in the world sand he cares about all his patients like family. I call him John and it's not out of disrespect but I love him like a Brother. I would take a bullet for him because he is so great. Many a Resident Physician has done mentoring under Dr. Healey and has not only learned Orthopedic Surgery but Humility towards patients. John, I love you and thank you.

Dr. Healey is a world renown orthopedic surgeon. He treated me when I was 15 years old and I am now a 40 year old doctor. Let alone is he a brilliant surgeon, he is a masterful doctor and was inspirational to me in how to conduct myself with patients. My story is not in isolation as he has inspired many of his patients to give back to society in their own personal way and to understand what is a life of "meaning." He is genuinely passionate in making a customized surgical experience so as to best integrate quality of life with cure of condition. He wants to cure your cancer and give you the best opportunity to obtain self actualization. He always asks for my family when I visit him, remembers my sister, talks about my hobbies, and has a witty comment with his terrific humor. Some people say they have to wait long at the office but I don't mind and bring work, read, etc...the wait is long because he actually listens to each and every patient, has excellent judgement, and is… considering a multitude of best options. You will not find a doctor anywhere who listens to you as well. I have literally grown up with Dr. Healey, have 100% faith in him, and would not let anyone else touch my leg. What am I going to do when he retires? He is just a wonderful human being and we are blessed to have been cared for by him.

3 hour wait and still counting

Amazing doctor, best judgement, saved my leg and my life, incredible calming presence, told me only what I needed to know about my surgery to remove sarcoma in my leg, give encouragement to look forward and live my life fully, super grateful and thankful for him and his staff for the artistry of the surgery they performed. MAY HE HELP OTHERS TO REMOVE THEIR CANCER FROM THEIR BODIES !

Dr, Healey is a brilliant, detail oriented and compassionate physician with the rare ability to communicate very effectively with his patients.He explained in great detail the condition of my knee and gave me understanding and hope for my future.This helped me to plan my next steps for the health of my knee. I am grateful that I am under his care.

Dr. Healey has been there for my mother, Alma, since she was first diagnosed with cancer years ago. After searching for THE right doctor, we knew Dr. Healey was meant for us. He is genuine, empathatic and a wise man. Thank you for taking such good care of our mom. We are blessed.

I feel that Dr. John Healey is one of the best surgeons. My son had a bone cyst in his humerus and Dr. Healey filled it with sea coral and inserted a metal rod. My son is doing fantastic. I personally don't care how long I have to wait for a doctor if I feel that the doctor is THE BEST in his field. Dr. John Healey is well worth the wait. I think he has an incredible medical mind.
