Dr. John M Kosta, MD

He rushes in and out and talks a mile a minute. He sent me in for a CT scan and when he went over the results he said "I should have had you tell the CT tech to scan lower ok your face" What!? That's your job, not mine. I got a second opinion, and the other ENT said Kosta ordered the wrong scan! What a waste of time and money!

I think the world of Dr Kosta. I had to see him for an ailment and he really listened and did a nice job of explaining things to me in a respectful way and working with me on a treatment plan. I went into remission for the ailment for about 1.5 years. When the problem started back I called back and left a message with his Nurse about next treatment steps. He called me at 5:15 asked me thoughtful questions and began a course of treatment. When things got worse I had to call a 2nd time and left a message wit his nurse. This time he called again around 5:15pm. I was unable to answer. He called me again after 8pm at night to check in on me ask detailed questions about the situation and then we talked about different treatment options, I just can't say enough good things about Dr. Kosta.

Wasted my time and $ for 1.5 hr visit. This is not the doctor who helps his patients. He does not have time for them. 5 mins of his time at the entrance to the room, 30 mins waiting because he saw other patients, 5 mins toward the end, which include his work on his I-pad, with the statement that he can’t help. He does not listen to what you want to say and when you try to say something he clearly shows his impatience. Find another doctor when you need help. Would not recommend.

I absolutely LOVE Dr. Kosta! He did my child's tonsils and adenoids and the procedure was quick, very efficient and my child has had an excellent recovery. Dr. Kosta and his staff were always available in the middle of the night... I would NEVER refer anyone anywhere else but here!

Dr Kosta is awesome. He is intelligent, patient and provides his patients with adequate time for questioning and explanation. His exam is not hurried and his opinion is very educated

Very caring, great follow up was concerned about my recovery. Outcome from surgery was excellent. Had to see him for a different issue as well and his care was exceptional.

Be sure to insist that he do the actual surgery. He let a resident do the incision on my neck which has left a large scar. Must more noticable than a typical thryoidectomy.

Lots of screaming, upset children. They were upset by this doctor. He treats the ear instead of the person.

He treated me professionally and with respect.His diagnosis was careful and accurate.I would recommend this Dr. for ENT issues.
