Dr. John V Marraccini JR., MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Linda and Dr.John for over 25 years and I do love them. I'm 82 years old and thanks to their preventive medicine and follow up on their patients health, I enjoy an excellent health. I do not go to specialists since every issue that I have Dr. John can take care of in one visit, he can diagnose and treat anything from the first visit. They follow up promptly when I send an email or if I call the office. Also, within a couple of days, they call you with the results of any test done. These doctors never disappoint me, it give me a lot of confidence being under Dr. John's care, specially at my age. I always follows their advise and it works for me, I'm able to have a 40+ hours a week job and a good quality of life, thanks to these doctors.

This review is way over due. My husband has been seeing Dr. John for 20+ years. I also see him. He's an excellent doctor who takes time seeing you. Dr. John really cares about his patients. The staff is also great!!

Beside Manner unapproachable

I have known John Marraccini for over 30 years. He was a Medical Examiner, and a d*mn fine one, but got fed up with the politics of death. He is probably on eof the top five smartest people I know, and I know some pretty smart people. If you are looking for a doctor that will diagnose your problem and do everything necessary to fix your problem, he is your guy. If you are looking for someone to hold your hand and tell you everything will be alright, no so much. He is more about being quick, efficient and good.

Dr John is a very straight forward and to the point kind of dr. No messing around with his time. Knows you're there because you have to and does not waste his or your time with nonsense.

At first Dr Marraccini may seem a little "clinical" or impersonal but once you get to know him you'll discover he's the best family practice doctor you'll ever find in Miami. Instead of trying to charm you he's actually listening to your symptoms and considering an accurate diagnosis.Dr Marraccini (Dr John) graduated from Harvard and could have gone into any field he chose. He picked family practice - not the big money choice for sure. He really cares about his profession and his follow through shows it. If whatever is ailing you doesn't turn out to be the typical malady, this guy actually researches your symptoms and takes the time to figure out what's going on. He doesn't overbook and cram his waiting room full of patients to rack up the big bucks, or to prescribe a quota of brand "X or Y" drugs so he gets a resort trip from the drug companies. He actually works hard to help get you well. He has even recommended over the counter stuff and more natural remedies when possible.Dr. John… has actually called me at home (personally - not his staff) to follow up on my progress. Who does that anymore?Good luck finding that kind of dedication to his profession in any other doctor in Miami! I know I haven't.BTW, in case you're wondering, I'm not family and I don't work there - I'm just a patient.

Dr JOhn Marraccini Is a great Doctor!

Dr John is extremely efficient, and very thorough. He spends enough time with you (he spent 45 minutes during our first visit on family history, and personal history), but doesn't mince words and doesn't waste any time. I rarely spend more than 5 minutes in his waiting room or an exam room, which is just unbelievable. He asks pertinent questions, and then follows up with the appropriate testing. He makes me feel confident that he knows what he is doing, and I am getting the best care.
