Dr. John Joseph Michon, MD

My husband went to Dr. Michon for tearing of the eyes. Dr. said that need to tighten eyes on side to control tearing. That his eyes were to open. He performed this surgery in hospital under general anesthesia. needless to say the surgery did NOT CONTROL the tearing!!! Dr. said sometimes you can't take care of it with one surgery so AGAIN went back to hospital for another surgery! Still TEARING!! Dr. Michon suggested to just stich eye even tighter and do in office. Now my husband has LARGE GAPS that you can see inside of his eye ball on both sides! SPENT OVER $10,000 in hospital bills besides all the time off of work and DEFORMED MY HUSBANDS LOOKS! (wish I could enclose a picture!) Eyes were still tearing went to 2 other doctors, First thing other doctors did was check tear ducts, which were COMPLETELY SHUT CLOSED! Dr. Michon did not even check tear ducts!! The surgery my husband really needed was to reconstruct his entire tear duct! 3 UNNECESSARY SURGERIES that Dr. Michon… did. When contacting Dr. Michon he just said we signed Consent form and would not take care of anything else, unless he would again try to fix. REAlly??!! I was going to trust him again! My husband had reconstructed surgery of tear duct which Did stop the tearing. As far as fixing DAMAGE that Dr Michon did we have to wait 6 months to even see if they can patch up gabs. and if so need to take SKIN GRAFTS FROM ROOF OF MOUTH TO PATCH!

I was referred to Dr. Michon by a "generalist" Opthamologist. When I brought my CT scan to Dr. Michon (and then an MRI), he showed me where the radiologist was incorrect. While the radiologist only sees scans like mine once in a while, Dr. Michon sees them every day. EXPERIENCE! When Dr. Michon removed the growth from my orbit, he left the operating room to view the biopsy himself to make sure it was not cancerous. HE CARED! His incredible knowledge, experience, and calm manner took away any concerns I had. I recommend Dr. Michon and his entire office staff with no reservations.

Dr. Michon is a caring Doctor, wonderful bedside manner, answers and explains all my questions. Excellent, amazing results after everything He has done for me..

Dr. John Michon is truly one of the best! I was referred to Dr. Michon by my primary care physician after I experienced sever Ectropion on my right lower eyelid as a result of my lower blepharoplasty. Dr. Michon performed corrective surgery (Ectropion repair along with a skin graft). I could not believe the results, within 2 months my eyelid is healing very well! I love the results and it keeps getting better. I can't thank Dr. Michon enough for what he's done for me. Following Mohs surgery to remove a Basil cell, next to and slightly into my eyelid, Dr Michon's skill and artistry in reconstructing my cheek, nose and most importantly, my eyelid were excellent. In follow-up, his kindness and care were perfect.

We first met Dr. Michon in the ER and did a follow up in his office. Making an appointment with his office was simple with same-day availability. Has a great bedside manner and thoroughly explains everything - then asks if you have any questions! He really takes time to listen. Highly recommend.
