I had total hip replacement 3 years ago with good results and no complaints. Dr. Schnars will do my other hip soon. I have complete confidence in him.

I have worked in Neurosurgery for a long time. Being from one of the best, still privately owned Atlanta practice. My mother went for an appointment last week to see Dr. Schnars apparently no referral for PT, no referral for a "neck doctor" oh and "we don't have an x-ray tech here because it's lunch time". FAIL - I have done my research and some of the top "neck" doctors agree - choice a better physician.

I am disappointed in Dr. Schnars' treatment of my knee. I now go to a different orthopedic doctor. Dr. Schnars is good at giving injections but he did not like to take the time to listen to me and seemed to dismiss my concerns about my increasing loss of mobility and level of pain.

Unbelievably arrogant and has no desire to listen. Only likes hearing himself talking. Has no compass for anyone in pain, just wants the money. Had me crying when I left his office because he talked DOWN to me and didn't care to help me at all. WOULDN"T recommend this egoistic man to any patient!!

Excellent surgeon! I would recommend him to anyone who needs a total knee replacement. My experience and outcome was wonderful. My recovery has me walking/exercising with no pain and enjoying life again!

Doc Schnars is a great mechanic. He does become overly defensive and sometimes arrogant and childish when questioned about the poor patient handling at Piedmont Hospital and/or his selection of meds maybe not suitable for a particular patients medical history. Would I go back to him? Sure, he is only human..Would I go back to Piedmont Hospital? ..Nope
