Was very nervous about the visit. He made me feel at ease. Great bedside manner. I will continue to see him.

I don't understand the negative reviews. Looks like someone has a problem w/ Dr. Taylor and has posted multiple reviews. I have known Dr. Taylor since he was a resident and has been my dr for yrs. He is one of the best around.

He’s the worst. Icing on the cake.

Dr. Taylor is very professional and is very direct and to the point and I love that. He takes the time to evaluate what I need and gives me the best options to move forward with my care.

I just had my c- sec a few weeks back, it really went so smooth. Dr.Taylor was really cool and wonderful throughout my hospital visits and also during & after my c- sec. I would really recommend him to anyone. I should not forget to mention his good sense of humor, which made us feel so calm throughout the 10 months. Thanks Dr.Taylor !

New patient. At 10 weeks I complained of possible yeast infection. Np diagnosed yeast infection and bacterial infection. Yet told me not to take any of the prescribed medication for 10 days bc I was so early....I asked her are u sure this should be left untreated for 10 days. She insisted. After unbearable discomfort and worry regarding bacterial infection worsening, I called an actual physician and asked if this is the correct course of treatment and of course they said absolutely NOT. Begin treating the infections immediately. That was strike 1. At 15 weeks I returned for my monthly visit and complained of yet another yeast infection and pertinent bleeding. I explained it all to nurse prior to seeing a new face (dr Taylor). He then comes in and like speed racer takes his vaginal sample to test for yeast in literally 15 seconds flat. Never once asking how are things considering he obviously never read the chart prior to speeding through my appointment time. Once over he… left abruptly and returned saying I had no yeast infection. I then said well I also have the bleeding mentioned in my chart and to nurse. He dismissed me once again saying he wasn't going to re-examine me since he didn't know before his quickie exam and that likely I had a hemmoroid which I knew I didn't have and which insisted wasn't the location of my bleeding. No yeast and no worries about the blood, see ya. I made another appointment the following day at Charlotte obgyn - I have a yeast infection which was obvious upon exam and the blood raised concern as well. An immediate ultrasound revealed complete placenta previa which requires important restrictions and trauma to the cervix. What a lazy and unprofessional physician dr Taylor turned out to be. Very disappointed he was in too much of a hurry to hear me out. Loving my new doctor at charltte ob!!!

Doctor Taylor is professional and has a caring attitude towards his patients. I would highly recommend him to anyone!

I would not recommend Dr. Taylor to anyone. In fact, I would strongly advise against Dr. Taylor and Eastover OBGYN. I had the misfortune of having Dr. Taylor deliver my first and only baby. I'm sad when I think back about that experience and it should've been the best experience of my life. I was scheduled to induce so it was planned. After being at CMC for over 24 hours, Dr. Taylor came on shift and upon meeting me (1 of 2 doctors out of 9 in the practice that I had not seen during my pregnancy), he barely said 2 words and seemed annoyed at having to deal with me. During his first cervical exam (within seconds of meeting him and without a word, he broke my water. I suddenly had a pool of liquid gathered under me and all over the bed/linens. Being my only pregnancy, I was shocked and confused and he said almost amused at the look on my face, "oh yea, I broke your water". Things progressed very fast for me and in 2 hours my baby was born (he was perfect!) but I almost lost my… life and Dr. Taylor was MIA. The nurse was left to save my life after he ripped the placenta out, put a stitch in and quickly left the room all while I was hemoraging severely. The nurse was kind and caring and experienced. She was trying not to panic during this time. She was left alone to deal with the amount of bleeding herself. She had to keep changing towels because I was soaking through them so fast. Everytime she did, I was left uncovered and the blood came out so much, so strong, it would shoot out across the room and after seeing the force of it, she panicked. She continued to mash on my stomach (more painful than the labor and delivery) all while calling for the doctor who did not respond to her for over 30 minutes. Then Dr Taylor sent orders a shot (but did not come back to the room) to help make the bleeding stop. I didn't actually see him again for 3 1/2 hours just before I lost conciousness from all the blood loss. I was not able to think or ask questions by that time I was so weak but he seemed annoyed that I was going in and out of consciousness while he was talking to me about the transfusion he ordered. I woke up the next morning and looked for my baby! I didn't get to see him after he was born because of everything that happened. I never saw Dr. Taylor again. I continued to bleed for 10 solid weeks before any off the Dr.'s (including Dr. Taylor) in that practice would try to figure out why. After a DNE, I left the practive. I found out that Dr. Taylor left a chunk of the placenta attached to my uterous when he ripped it out of me because he was in a hurry to get to other deliveries. Standard practice is to allow the placenta to be deleivered and check it for tears before you throw it away. Dr. Taylor took shortcuts on both counts and I had to pay for them. Not only is he a deplorable doctor, he is arrogant and unprofessional. In my opinion, he's not a very good human being either.

Dr. Taylor has been my doctor for many years. He has operated on me twice and is now going to be looking after me as I experience my first pregnancy. I was told by 2 Doctors that I was going to have to jump through hoops of fire in order to conceive. He never gave up on my and followed me on my journey. He personally would call me with test results or just to check on me after a procedure.Dr. Taylor and his nurse Janice have always provided me with WORLD CLASS experience! I would recommend him to anyone.
