Dr. John Howard Wood, MD

Dad had cataract surgery. Every visit is over an hour wait time. 3rd and thankfully last visit. Appt at 2:45 and here we sit at 3:30 waiting. Was told that he had a meeting earlier and is now behind. Per staff doesn't announce in advance for meetings. Meeting over @ 1:45 plenty of tome to call & tell us to come in later or reschedule. Has NO concern for the time he wastes of his patients.

Dr. Wood and optician there are great! I have lived in many different cities and from my experience, this office is the best. I highly recommend Dr. Wood and the optician to everyone in Chapel Hill.

Chapel Hill Ophthalmology provides great care and customer service. I've been going there for a few years now and I am very happy with their service. Dr. Wood and their staff are great! They are friendly and very helpful. I recently spent a lot of time dropping in to ask questions about contacts and glasses. The desk staff was very patient to review costs and insurance with me. The opticians helped a lot too!
