Dr. Jonas Chappel Fast

Jonas, I hope you see this and think twice before diagnosing someone with FND just because you are medically inept and couldn't fit a complex case in a nice box. Let the professionals handle it next time. I was evaluated by this resident when I was in the ER at Anschutz after being told by the Highlands Ranch UC Health Neurologist that if my symptoms worsened I needed to go to the Anschutz ER and request to be seen by Neuroimmunology. This resident did the most haphazard exam I have ever received, he picked my hand up and called it a negative Hoffman's test in his notes. I've been working with multiple neurology specialists for a YEAR trying to figure out what was causing my progressive and debilitating symptoms this resident decided he knew better after a 5 minute exam and diagnosed me with something essentially indicating I was faking it and affect my care moving forward by saying in my notes that no additional testing was needed. I saw the Neuroimmunologist at Anschutz 2 months… later who requested I be used as a case study for rare genetic diseases on my first appointment after doing the SAME exam that "Dr" Jonas haphazardly did and looking at the SAME objective test findings I discussed with "Dr" Jonas. It turns out I have an extremely rare autoimmune DISEASE. The doctor overseeing my care was absolutely enraged by Jonas' "evaluation" to the point that she indicated she would be sending him a note. Shame on you.
