THIS IS ONE OF THE SLEAZIEST DOCTORS I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH. HE WILL ATTEMPT TO SELL PRODUCTS AND PROCEDURES NOT APPROVED BY YOUR INSURANCE (IE. YOU WILL PAY FOR ALL COSTS FROM YOU OWN POCKET) WILL ALSO LIE TO YOU ABOUT WHAT IS COVERED OR NOT COVERED BY YOUR INSURANCE SO HE CAN CHARGE YOU THE CAST AMOUNTS OF EVERYTHING. A REAL LOSER AND A REAL CROOK!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DO NOT GO HERE.

I had laser vision correction surgery with Dr. Jonathan Talamo in 2004 and have been very happy with my results and my whole experience. Dr. Talamo has been extremely thorough and attentive every step of the way. During my initial consultation, he answered all of my questions, carefully explained all of my options, and recommended what he thought was the best procedure for me. He also performed a comprehensive evaluation of my eyes and vision, enabling him to tailor the surgery to my specific needs. The surgery and the recovery were just as I expected due to Dr. Talamo's careful preoperative counseling. Immediately after the surgery, my vision was perfect (20/15 in both eyes) and remains that way today. In addition, Dr. Talamo's staff has always been courteous, helpful and accomodating whenever I have visited his office. As an obstetrician and gynecologist, I operate and work long hours frequently. No longer needing to wear glasses in the operating room or contacts for extended periods… of time has been a fantastic improvement in my life. I highly recommend Dr. Talamo for anyone who is considering laser vision correction surgery.

I presented to Dr Talamo for consultation for a rare eye condition - keratoconus. I was referred in and shocked at the immediate response from his office to make an appointment for me. The lady was very knowledgeable about my condition and very informative regarding what to expect at my first visit, how to prepare, and all the tools she had made available on the website for me to refer and become an educated consumer. I was apprehensive but after the pleasant and informative conversation followed up by a prompt email containing all of the literature necessary for my visit, i felt much more at ease about my condition and what could be done to help me. I showed up to one of the most beautiful physician practices I had ever seen and was amazed by the large volume of people in the waiting area but yet they were all approproately entertained. There were hardcover books of varioius genres to keep we patients divereted while waiting, and it is a long wait but well worth it. After several… encounters with several staff members, all of whom were courteous, I finally met with Dr Talamo who was genuinely concerned about my well being and extremely able to better help me to understand. I had to write this review because Dr Talamo came highly recommended by my optometrist and now I can "see" why. I highly recommend this physician and practice.
