I had the so called scarless thyroidectomy in November of 2020 with Dr Russell. The surgery was a complete disaster that has completely destroyed my life without exaggeration. Dr Russell removed my healthy parathyroid gland, could not find one and damaged the other two healthy glands which gave me hypoparathyroidism. I really don’t know how much longer I will live bc hypoparathyroidism is extremely difficult to treat. I have been disabled from this condition he caused, have not been able to work since the surgery and I cannot be on my feet for more than 15 minutes at a time and I do not have the proper treatment for this condition. The symptoms I have from hypoparathyroidism are unimaginable and indescribable torture every minute of every day. He also deformed my chin from the surgery. This is a complication that he does not warn about. He also gaslit me all along the way not getting me the proper care I needed for hypoparathyroidism and even tried to blame the hypoparathyroidism… on something other than my surgery just 4 months after my surgery. He puts on a great act, but you can tell the true character of a person on how they handle situations when something goes wrong.

The most incredible care! I was so nervous to have surgery to remove half of my thyroid, and Dr. Russell made sure that I knew every available option to me. The scarless procedure was exactly how he explained. He was readily available for questions and the entire recovery process! I could not recommend him more!
