Dr. Joseph Scott Baler, MD

I agree that all the staff can be very rude. I reported this to Dr. Baler.

I was disappointed in the lack of caring attitude. I moved here recently from Philadelphia area-there my dermatologist would completely inspect my body for spots and even looked into my hair. Dr. Baler never approached me-just stood there and said I looked fine.

My experience with this office was fantastic. I was greeted with smiles and kind faces and I found Dr. Baler to be very professional, he took his time, and seemed very confident in what he was doing. I would disregard these negative responses. Maybe left by people who were displeased with not getting what they wanted when they wanted?

He is a great doctor, knows what he is doing and how to treat patients. The receptionists there are awful, all of them give attitudes and make the experience unpleasant. I won't be going back.

Dr. Baler spent time with my daughter listening to our concerns and explaining treatments and options. his staff was very professional and helpful to us both in person and on the phone. I would recommend Dr. Baler to friends and family.

As others have reported, the scheduling staff is unprofessional, rude and condescending. I was a patient who had not needed Dr. Baler's attention in some years. When I requested an appointment, I was told I had become a new patient and had to wait 3 months. My prime care physician told me to see Dr. Baler as soon as possible. I called at least 3 times asking if there were any cancellations; there never was a cancellation. About 2 weeks before the appointment, my condition worsened and I then asked to speak to Dr. Baler's nurse. She told me she did not handle appointments and returned me to the scheduling staff who not only denied the previous events, but also noted that since I didn't like the treatment I was getting, why would I want to come to the office! Dr. Baler apparently does not read his reviews but maybe if there are enough of these comments, he will do something about his unprofessional staff.

I thought he was very knowledgable with a good bedside manner. I felt confident in his diagnosis and exam. I would've certainly go back to him. As for some of the negative comments about his staff, I found them pleasant and friendly.

Absolutely infuriating to schedule an appointment. Receptionist took extended lunch break, and then when I finally was able to get through, placed me on hold without even allowing me to speak. Dr. Baler needs to start over with his office staff, as the staff running his front office don't seem to care.

I don't know about the doctor since I was never able to get an appoinment. The receptionist was very rude and even a bit condescending on the phone.

Finally, a dermatologist who WANTS to be a dermatologist. Not looking to move into laser and cosmetic procedures due to the quick money. He spends alot of time with you, is fantastic and caring with kids and is very systematic in his approach. I highly recommend him.
