I found Dr. Lemmer to be an excellent dr. Listen to every word I said. Treated every problem. His voice is loud but he is talking to you not over you. One of the best, doesn't sugar coat it!

I find Dr. Lemmer to be rude with an awful bedside manner. Yes, he is thorough. However, he interrupts me & talks down to me. I feel worse when I leave his office, with unanswered questions still in my head. I was almost in tears after my most recent visit. RA already makes me feel bad, my doctor should not be contributing to that. Also, I have found the practice to be disorganized. I am told to schedule lab work only to arrived & there is no order for my lab work, for example. I do not feel the least bit valued as a patient. I am moving on...

After reading these reviews I now believe even further that Dr. Lemmer is stuck on Fibromaygia diagnosis. He is, in fact, very rude and does not listen. My last visit he was so busy with fibro diagnosis he forgot one of the things I had gone in for. I chose not to remind him because I believe this doctor will diagnose 99% fibro. You go in his office in pain and you endure his rudeness only to leave the office still in pain. He diagnosed fibro BUT as yet to offer ANY treatment. Honestly I am sorry but I do not recommend him. If you cannot treat your patients with compassion and concern then you become part of the problem. He is so busy stating "stress and fatigue" make fibro symptoms worse and yet he, himself, leaves you feeling more stressed.

When I first started seeing Dr. Lemmer, I was unsure of what was wrong with me. I had been suffering for 6 yrs on my own from Dr. to Dr. Finally he pointed out Fibromyglia (which I had believed to be an "in your head" disease) But it is "real" and my pain was "real". I have shock-pains, like electrical charges thru out my feet and legs (sometimes other places too) and sensations like cold water running down my left leg. and rubber bands snapping in my legs. I wud have migranes - in my eye sockets. and bridge of my nose and face, mysofacial pain. I thought was sinus but was not stuffed-up it was coming from my neck pain. Tenderness so bad it hurt to have sheets across my feet and legs, hurt to wear bra straps, waist bands, I can only wear loose soft clothing. Shoes that go over the top of my feet or tie are too painful, cant wear complete flats or heels over 1"inch. Anyway... I felt nothing but pain in my life for years until I met this man! Today, I still have pain and my life… is still interrupted but I am slowly getting back to a place where I can tolerate the pain. I am sooo much better off. If you are expecting to get doped up and in blissful drug induced pain-free life. Forget it- it wont happen. but if you are willing to work-with-a-doctor and listen to what he has to say, change your life style, and try non-narcotic medicines, this is your doctor. He is mine and I am able to enjoy life again. Not pain-free but that is my condition and my station in life. So I accept it and am glad it is not a disease that will shorten my life. There are so many worse health problems to have. thank you!

I may not like what he says to me about certain things that keep me in pain (stresses). But in the end, he is usually right on the money. He is not rude, he just tells it like it is. Blunt! Sometimes that is the way us Fibro people need it. I have known him for over 7 years now and he is still the same way. I left him for being the way he is, but went back because he does understand the way Fibro works better than anyone else in the area! Long waits, but better results!

I am a 33 year old Rhuematology patient of Dr. Joseph Lemmer. For about 5 years I have suffered from excruciating pain in my muscles and in my joints. My family Physician and her partners all continued to suggest that this pain was all in my head and one even had the nerve to imply I was probably trying to score narcotics, which infuriated me. Finally during one of my many visits to this office, my Doctor saw patches of psoriasis formined over the the joints that I was having great pain with. She sent me to Dr. Lemmer and boy am I glad to now be in his care for what I know now is Fibromyalgia and R.A. Dr. Lemmer is a wonderful doctor,he talks to me and really listens when I speak of my pain. He has given me a new lease on life and has managed my pain beautifully and as a mother of 4 that is a huge deal to me. My kids have their mommy back! Thank You Dr.Lemmer!

I HAVE BEEN A 26 YEAR PATIENT OF DR LEMMER. I SUFFER FROM FIBROMYAGLIA. I HAVE HEARD THAT HE IS CALLED THE FIBRO DOC. HE HAS ALWAYS BEEN CONSIDERATE TO ME. I HAVE BEEN ON SO MANY MEDICATIONS THAT NEVER WORKED UNTIL LYRICA WAS PRESCRIBED FOR ME. I RATE LYRICA AND DR LEMMER A 10. THANK YOU DR. LEMMER FOR BE SO KIND.

Dr. Lemmer has been great for me and has great communication with me. He is caring and concerned for me as his patient. My experience with him has been positive and I know he is very busy so the longer wait is understanding because he does take his time to listen and respond in ways to better my health. I may not always like what Im told but he speaks the truth of changes I can make and this is what a good doctor should do. I have recommended him to others and they also feel helped and heard by Dr. Lemmer.

Dr. Lemmer was very rude to me. He will not listen and always has an answer for everything. I feel very hurt when I leave his office. His bedside manner is demeaning. He is not considerate at all. I am searching for a new doctor at this time. I have been seeing him for about 5 years. Gets worse ever time I go and so does my pain.
