If I could give a lower review I would. After getting an MRI for my daughter it has been a week and we are still unable to get anyone from the office to help us get in touch with the Dr. No one ever calls back and he never seems to be in the office or available.

Dr. Pav has changed my life. I have had a severe lazy eye since birth and no one ever knew exactly how to correct it. Everything short of surgery was attempted in my childhood, but surgery was considered too risky and unnecessary. Insurance companies I had spoken to in my adulthood had referred to my condition as a "cosmetic issue" despite eye strain, social difficulties (I speak to large groups as part of my job), migraines, self image, and difficulty driving and reading for extended periods. Dr. Pav immediately voiced his concern for the extreme nature of my condition and knew he could help me. I cannot thank him enough for taking me seriously and working to make sure I was taken care of. There were issues with his surgical coordination and most of that was due to him being out of network for my carrier, but I would go through all that a thousand times to get to where I am right now (and I am only 3 days post-op!). To anyone who has lived with a lazy eye, you know that cosmetic is… the least of the issues that come with such an obvious condition. Dr. Pav is one of the only medical professionals that actually listened to and respected my perspective as a patient.

We had been to another ped op in the area and were disappointed with that dr.'s bedside manner, as well as their policies. Our insurance gave us the name of a couple we could choose from and this practice was on the list. We went to them for a 2nd opinion and were very pleasantly surprised! We went to their new office in Cranberry and we were called back as soon as I handed over the paperwork. Dr. Pav came right in and started talking with our son (the patient) about what was going on, and included me in the conversation as necessary. He was very personable and put me at ease with regards to our son's condition. Surgery was not the first word out of his mouth after the exam (as the other dr. had done without batting an eye, of course "needing" to see him again in 2 months). Everything he said made sense. I am actually looking forward to going back next year for our son's annual appointment. He definitely made it worth the 1 hour drive to his office.

Dr. Pav is great but the office staff isn't really all that friendly and the wait is horrible. Everytime we go it is worse. Last time it was almost an hour and a half wait till we saw him examine our child. But he is spot on with his DX and very friendly. The kids love him.

my child has seen many different specialists over the years as we manage his diagnosis. NO ONE cares or takes the time like Dr. Pav.
