The doctor has no plans when thing go wrong. Dr Joe Installed a Urinary artificial sphincter implant. It work fine until he went in to my bladder. I had some bleeding for a month when I urinate. He told me nothing is wrong ,but stop taking warfarin. I ask why, but he never said why. I get home, and now I have no stream when I urinate, it just dribble like an old faucet. Went back to doctor and he said He would not go back in to look around in my bladder. And can I live this way. I told him no I can't live this way and he said he had no idea what to do. I really got the impression he really didn't care. You gotta find a doctor that really cares about his patient. Not someone just to make money and When the problem arises act like who cares, It's you're problem. Great news! I went to Mount Sinai in New York. Best thing I did. The doctor did a cystoscopy. as soon as he went in we could see the problem some how the artificial sphincter has cut in to my urethra. The sphincter did not wear… through the urethra it's too new to happen so soon. all I have to say is. The artificial sphincter worked perfectly until Dr Joe went in again then It didn't not work. I wouldn't go to Dr Steinberg ever again. He did not care about the problem he caused. The doctor' at Mount Sinai will do the repair that joe didn't know how to do. It's nice to see a doctor that knows what he's doing Thank you Mount Sinai"

Dr. Steinberg is a great doctor. I am thankful that my cousin found such a great doctor for me. With the problem I have he has given his full attention to my needs. I would recommend him to anyone.

AFTER ALL THESE YEARS IN PRACTICE DOESN'T LISTEN, BELITTLES PATIENTS AND STAFF IS ATROCIOUS. STEINBERG DOESN'T LISTEN TO COMLAINTS OR DOESN'T CARE. POOR OFFICE MANAGEMENT.

Dr. Steinberg was recommended by another Urologist to see if he could provide a second opinion and possibly a solution for my bladder scar tissue problem which had continued after four previous procedures. I am very thankful for that recommendation and the surgery done by Dr. Steinberg. It resulted in a wonderful outcome.

I had my annual exam with Dr. Steinberg. He asked a lot of questions and let me describe how I was doing. He then offered some good advice involving the trial of a different medication. He was friendly, professional, and genuinely interested in my concerns. Highly recommended!

I gave a copy of a report from a CT scan done at Morristown Medical Center ER during a kidney stone event during a new patient consult to Dr. Steinberg which found a "lobulization" on the right kidney. Dr Steinberg dismissed the lobulization as "inflammation". With my many symptoms, I sought another opinion which lead to a partial nephrectomy on the right kidney three months later because the "lobulization" turned out to be a plum sized renal cell carcinoma!

Not professional. Rude with children. Took a call, made us wait. Just not a pleasant visit

Great surgical work, quick recovery. He has a very supportive personality.

He put in a sling for me and totally ruined me...sling is too tight & now I can't void at all. After he realized he made a mistake, he gave me the cold shoulder and avoided me. I think he's a terrible doctor and a worse person!
