Joshua Stevenson, PT, DPT

I have been a physical therapist since 2017, but have had a passion for the human body and its function for many years before. Growing up an athlete with a love for weight lifting guides my treatment toward helping people improve themselves. I think it is critical to help my patients take their rehabilitation into their own hands, and I am passionate about the educational role I serve as part of the care team. Ultimately I believe that movement is medicine and love helping people get back to the movements they care about!Movement is such a critical part of good quality life, and my role is to help you get back to your important movements as quickly as possible. Helping people understand their pain/injury and promoting autonomy over these conditions is vital as a PT. Promoting a therapeutic alliance with my patients is so important - working together as a team with my patients to overcome pain and dysfunction is the foundation upon which I practice.
