Joyce E. Feagin, MD, is an oncologist who specializes in solid tumors and hematology at Willis-Knighton Cancer Center’s Hematology/Oncology Associates. Dr. Feagin genuinely wants all of her patients to experience the same level of care and compassion as would her own family as she works to make each cancer patient’s experience better.

She earned her medical degree at University of South Alabama College of Medicine. Her internal medicine residency and hematology/oncology fellowship at University of South Alabama hospitals and clinics allowed her to dig deep into cancer care as she built relationships with patients and academic leaders. Today Dr. Feagin is a cancer liaison physician for the American College of Surgeons. Her professional memberships also include American Medical Association and American Society of Clinical Oncology. Dr. Feagin holds certifications in internal medicine, medical oncology and hospice and palliative medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Dr. Feagin is very in tune with her patients. She takes time to explain the situation and provide a treatment plan. Even though the other physicians just stated chronic anemia. Dr. Feagin analyzed the information and was determine to find out why the anemia was occurring. She never accepted the response of the other physicians I had previously seen. She knew it had to be a bleed somewhere. Through her persistence, we were able to identify the reason for the anemia and isolate/treat the problem. She is an awesome physician. Her willingness to go the extra mile saves lives. JLC

Dr Joyce Feagin is the best doctor!!! She is super nice and very patient. I felt like she truly care about my health. And will do what she can to help me. Not many doctors like her. I'm so happy to be a patient of hers!!!

I Love this Dr! She treated me back in 2003 and saved my life! She is so compassionate and honest with you. She really cares about her patients! She is so intelligent very caring always has a smile on her face! I would highly recommend her! She is now treating me again sad to say but I wouldn't have any other Dr. But her! She is the Best Dr around here! Oh and get nurse is precious also! Thank You Dr. Design for all that you do!! Love ya!

She, Tells you like it is wehat the pronossues is. the % rating of outcome and when you are with her it seems as though she has no other patient to worry about. She is a great doctor.
