Dr. Juan Garza, MD, FACC

Dr. Juan Garza is a cardiovascular disease specialist who earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. He completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston and pursued additional cardiovascular disease training at the University of California Irvine Medical Center. With 45 years of experience in cardiovascular medicine, Dr. Garza holds board certification in internal medicine from the American Board of Internal Medicine and is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC). He provides care to patients in English.

Dr. Garza practices at multiple Baptist Heart & Vascular locations throughout San Antonio, Texas, and maintains hospital affiliations with North Central Baptist Hospital, Northeast Baptist Hospital, Methodist Hospital Stone Oak, and several other Baptist health system facilities in the area. His clinical expertise focuses on managing high blood pressure conditions, including …severe hypertensive emergencies and pediatric hypertension cases.
