Best Dr. ever!! I will miss her dearly!

Dr. Gershowitz was extremely pleasant and a good listener. As this was my first visit with her, she made me feel at ease.

Went to this terrible dr almost 10 years ago and I still hate her. At the time she said I had HPV ( which i still think was not right was various reasons) and did a procedure on me that made me profusely bleed for 2 days, I ended up at the ER. I hate her from the bottom of my heart, I wouldnt recommend her to my worst enemy, she is aweful and cruel, during the procedure, she didnt numb the area, she hurt me so much that I started yelling ... I am not the kind of person who makes scenes, but 10 years later i still remember this. Please stay away. Do yourself a favor.

She's fine if you have a routine matter. I had an issue that she couldn't explain, and she actually said 'I don't know what to tell you.' Not acceptable. Went to another doctor who explained exactly what was happening.

Dr. Gershowitz is a treasure. I appreciate her intelligence, compassion, ability to explain (just about everything), her forthrightness, her lack of pretention, her unrushed manner, her good nature and her dedication to her work and patients. Her staff is not only welcoming but also knowledgeable. I only hope she won't retire for a long, long time!

Dr. Gershowitz is an outstanding doctor and a wonderful human being. After a short conversation I had with her,on the phone today, she asked me if I wanted to come in to see her at her office today . I was so thrilled and relieved that I could get to have an appointment with her so quickly. I didn't have a long wait and she did not rush me at all. She truly is an expert in her field, a great doctor and a compassionate human being. I am so grateful that she is my doctor . I am telling everyone I know about her . Oh! Her office staff and other medical staff personnel are very courteous and helpful . We shared smiles . Thank you Dr. Gershowitz and staff!

You have to wait a year to get your enitial appointment but she's woth it. After that she is always availalbe. She's a very warm, caring GYN. So thankful I found her.

I found Dr. Gershowitz to be brash and impatient. I went to her with a serious concern and she was dismissive when I tried to share additional information that I thought was important. She described potentially painful procedures in a cavalier way. I cant say if it was more a challenge with her listening skills, lack of empathy, or if she was just having a bad day. She definitely was on a high horse and treated me as a subordinate rather than my ideal, which is the doctor-patient as a partnership. She spoke of my medical history as if I was damaged goods rather than the way other doctors have had the outlook that we can work with that.

- very friendly yet,very professional-spoke to me for about 30 minutes asked question before exam- very gentle, took her time and talked through exam explaing what she was doing.-after completing exam she told me to get dressed and meet her again in the office.- sat with the Dr another 15 minutes where she explained instructions on meds so thorough it was amazing. as she spoke in my head i was getting questions ready to ask, before i can even open my mouth my questions were answered. - she covers all bases and leaves absolutely nothing unanswered.-it was a positive experience and is most definetely worth the wait..

The first available appointment that was available for Dr. Gershowitz was 2 months from the day I called her office to schedule. The appointment was well worth the wait. She is truly exceptional! Intelligent, patient, considerate, and has a helping nature. This is what medicine should be about.
