Bdst eye doctor I have ever had!

I have been treating with Dr. Piros since 1994 when I first moved to the Savannah area. She is professional, courteous, prompt and I have no doubt that her diagnoses are accurate. The proof is in the pudding - her waiting room is always full. And in a "networked" city like Savannah, that says alot. Reputation is everything.

I was looking at the website, to make an appointment, and I came across the reviews for Dr. Piros. There must be some mistake! In my experience...I have been treated with respect, received excellent care and left her office feeling confident that my eyes are in good hands. I would trust the eyes of my grandchildren to Dr. Piros. That's a HUGE statement for me to make. I took my name off so that no one would think I'm trying to get in her good graces. I'm already there... just because I'm one of her patients.

I will never forget this doctor. I have hereditary tremors in my head(which was written in my chart, as well as me explaining it to her.) She(very rudely ) told me to PLEASE hold my head still. I left. I had heard heard through the thin walls, prior to her coming into my room, that this was not Burger King. That things would be HER way.

Dr. Piros knows her business and always is professional in her manner and "doctor expertise." I am very confident in leaving my eye care to Dr. Piros. She will answer questions in a professional always making you feel that you have seen the best eye doctor in Savannah.

It appears to me that Dr. Piros is resistant to taking time to answering patient's questions or being asked quetions at all. The past 2 visits I felt brushed off and hurried along so that, as in her words, "I have other patients to see. I have a very serious eye condition and it has been very difficult to cope with the knowledge that I could lose my eyesight. I have mounting medical expenses due to illnesses of other close family members. My first husband died after a long term illness that left me with bills that ruined me financially. My current husband now has a serious debilitating muscle disease. Dr. Piros was short, rude, and hostile to my questions. I am sick and tired of this kind of attitude from physicians; the ones who demand your "compliance" when they act as though they have no respect for their patients. I am a well educated and thoughtful professional myself. I do expect kind and compassionate responses from all healthcare workers - and that certainly includes… doctors. I will not accept bad behavior from someone who is being paid to treat my condition. There are far too many doctors out there to put up with ego problems. We as patiens are taught to ask questions and to "participate" in our own healthcare. I intend to do that without being treated unkindly and rudely. I don't deserve that. I am also a customer - and I can vote with my feet!
