Dr. Julius John Huebner, MD

I had a partial knee replacement and was back to work in two weeks. I found him and staff to be excellent and they gave me all the time And attention I needed. Highly recommend Dr Huebner.

After 3 years of agonizing hip pain I was referred to Dr Huebner and he gave me back my quality of life. Osteoarthritis had destroyed the cartilage in both of my hips. At my initial visit, after reviewing my xrays, Dr Huebner suggested having both hips done at the same time. This turned out to be a great decision. 5 and 1/2 weeks after surgery I am walking without any hip pain. Dr. Huebner is the best! Also, his staff is very professional and accommodating to the patient’s needs.

Went to Dr Huebner in 2013 for a knee replacement for my right knee now going back for my left knee. He made me feel relaxed never worried about my operation I give him 5 STARS

Dr. Huebner just performed a total right side hip replacement on me (out patient, at the hospital at 5am, back ay my home at 15:00). In short Dr. Huebner is a fantastic doctor/ surgeon and he has great caring staff as well..

Dr. Huebner is an excellent surgeon and very compassionate. I highly recommend him A few years ago at age 64, I broke my ankle and leg. The board certified orthopedic surgeon at my hospital looked at the X-rays and did not feel confident that he could fix my ankle. I'm grateful that he admitted that my fractures were beyond his ability. He said I needed to be seen by a trauma surgeon. When I arrived at Allegheny General Hospital, the ER docs said the doctor who would do the surgery was Dr. Huebner. Since he had started surgery at 7AM and it was now 7PM, the surgery would probably be done the next morning. I met Dr. Huebner, and he did the very complicated surgery (external fixations, plate, wires) that night. He didn't get out of surgery until after midnight. He put the patient's needs first. He could have easily said he'd do the surgery the next day. When I went for checkups at his office, every patient spoke very highly of him! I spent 4 weeks in bed. Then had… a second operation to take out the external fixation and wire the ankle. Bottom line, I can now run, ski, swim, golf, etc. PS I work in the medical field in NYC, and Dr. Huebner is definitely a top physician!

Dr. Huebner has done both of my knee replacements. I trust him totally. He is very thorough - he provides detailed instructions on how to best prepare for surgery both to get good results and prevent complications. I feel he is honest and isn't trying to rush his patient into surgery - he told me that I would decide when it was time for surgery which I really appreciated. His whole team works together well and I always feel I am in good hands with any of his staff.

I saw Dr Huebner after he was recommended by a colleague. I found him to be very professional, extraordinarily knowledgable, and very honest. Even though he is a SURGEON, he actually told me that he would not rush into surgery for my particular problem. He encouraged me to wait until the problem worsens and until I feel that I really NEED the surgery. He THINKS. He has tremendous INTEGRITY, not just out to do another case. My colleague recommended him and also told me that all the nurses that work with him in the OR send their relatives to him and go to him themselves. And they work with a LOT or orthopedic surgeons. My wait time was about 10 minutes, but I had been told that he can get backed up. I would have happily waited to see such a fine Dr.

I had bi lateral hip replacement surgery. It takes longer to get my car tuned up and oil changed in a did for doctor Hubner to change both of my hips i was home and walking. Two weeks no cane no walker. Physical therapy is the most important part after surgery. Don't let that lapse. The diamond team and Allegheny general hospital was excellent. Doctor Hubner Team was outstanding. And like I said previously Dr Hubner is a genius.

It's been 1 year from my hip replacement. It feels like the hip I was born with. The scar is almost gone. He is outstanding and a very talented doctor. Thanks Dr. Huebner!
