Dr. Karen Holladay Galichon, MD

Dr Galichon has been my physician for 10 years. She is one of the finest doctors in Richmond and really shines in cases of insomnia , anxiety and depression. She is as good as any psychiatrist. Excellent medical skills as an internist.

I requested a prescription refill and she wrote the wrong dose - twice. I was billed for a diagnotic visit ($356), but it should have been billed as a co-pay office visit. It has been 3 months trying to get the billing error corrected. Her office staff are less than helpful. I have found a new doctor.

Asks questions and listens to answers and allows me to do the same. Follow up sometimes includes a personal call from Dr Galichon. Her diagnostic and treatment skills cause me to feel confident in her care.

Went to the office. Got a (I quote) free Medicare Check up, was not happy at all. I was billed incorrectly, it went to collections and affected my credit score. I am still trying to get a letter from the office to go to the Credit Bureau to clear my credit record from last year (2017). Always had very good credit until now. Thanks a lot. Not going there anymore.

Visited 3 times until I had enough. Felt more like a number than a patient when she came into the room. No how are things going, do you have any questions or concerns,and as another reviewer wrote just ups and leaves, worst physician I've ever been to.

Doctor is nice however, tends to give out flyers at end of visit for medical conditions one had for years. This seemed to me as an inexperience move by the doctor. Not that great.

A seemingly good doctor. I have had one visit as this doctor took over my long time doctor;'s spot after his retirement. It is impossible to get hold of the actual office or find an appointment time. I am looking for a new doctor as there is no way I can fit my life into these limited times.

So far pleased with professionalism and f/u care..

It took 2 months to get an appoitment. Waiting room was 40 min and exam room 20 minutes. Spent 10 minutes with me, got up without asking if I had any questions and was gone. Looking for a new doctor.

Dr. Galichon is an amazing dr. She knew what was wrong with me and was able to help me with my concerns. Very personable and great bedside manner.
