Dr. Karen Michelle Shainsky, DO

I rarely leave comments about Doctors, as my indifference towards them rightfully matches their indifference towards patient's wellness, and their excessive concerns about insurance reimbursements, but what I have witnessed today deserves a special comment. I took my mother to see Dr. Shainsky, and what I saw was shocking and unusual in a very good way. Dr. Shainsky showed genuine concern, spent significant amount of time on examine my mother, spent time on learning about her medical history going back years, as well looking at details at recent tests. Without a doubt she tried to help beyond just her specialization in Rheumatology, as Doctors would do in the "good old times". I wish more Doctors showed as much concern about their patient's health, but that is probably going to remain in realm of wishful thinking, with rare exceptions like Dr. Shainsky. GREAT THANKS!!!

An excellent doctor! She always spent as much time as it is necessary examining her patients. Her professional knowledge is deep and expertise is extensive. I would definitely recommend Dr. Shainsky as a Rheumatologist to anyone I know.

She spent 40 minutes with me to understand the details of my complaints, and then correctly diagnosed me with unusual complication.
