Dr. Beer was very professional in a thoughtful way.

Dr. Beer listed to my concerns and responded to each one. He had x-rays taken and explained them and the problem that I was having.

Referred to Dr. Beer with acute L knee pain and swelling and almost inability to walk due to swelling. The whole office was run very well. I met Dr. Beer for the first time, and he treated me as an adult, and listened to me. It was a relief to know that injectable SynVysc-type treatment was available from him that day. It certainly made my ability to keep on going at age 73 a lot easier. Kudos to Dr. Karl Beer and his practice.

Dr. Beer literally told my mother that she was not a candidate for hip replacement because there was plenty of cushion left in her hip. He tended not to address her directly as if her age indicated that she would have no knowledge of what he was talking about. A second opinion showed great deterioration in the ball going into her socket. Now, less than four months after her appointment with Dr. Beer, she has had a successful hip replacement surgery. Shame on him.

I’m 51 years old Dr. B replaced my hip. The prosthesis he used is too big and out of Position. Also the prosthesis He chose is making my leg too short. Because of the size and the position of the iliopsoas tendon is Rubbing on The Cup . That is like rubbing on 60 grit sandpaper all day long. Also because of the size of the cup the iliopsoas tendon is out of position making tendon not straight. Because it’s not straight I can’t lift my leg. I can’t put my pants on correctly, I can’t get into a car can’t get out of the car, it is my right leg so I have to drive with my hand under my knee and move My leg back-and-forth from the gas pedal to the brake pedal.. these are just some of the things that I cannot do because I cannot lift my leg. During this whole time Dr. Beer has been very rude he told me to toughen up when I was in pain. He’s told me I was nothing but skin and bones. He told me that they didn’t make prosthesis to fit me, that I was the problem. If he felt that way he… should never have done the surgery. He told me that he used the smallest prosthesis. In the end he told me that the prosthesis was too big and that he used the second smallest prosthesis. I used to do triathlons and now I can’t even put on my pants correctly. through it all Dr Beer’s been very rude. More than rude Demeaning, and belittling.

Dr. Beer and his staff made my hip replacement a really good experience. He was wonderful to work with, and relieved the anxiety of the surgery for me. He has an excellent staff that takes care of you from the office to discharge after surgery. I am 3weeks post surgery and recommend him highly.

I don’t know why you’d ever get a hip replacement with anyone other than Dr. Beer. Recovery was quick and painless.
