Dr. Kenneth Samuel Jeffers, MD

my daughter had a pain in her ankle. My wife took her to Dr. Jeffer's office. They took an x-ray. There was a very small fracture in one of the small bones. All Dr. did was give my wife a wrap so she can wrap the annkle and ask to purchase a boot from Amazon. They claim this was a treatment of an ankle and charging $1792 to my insurance, which I have to pay $530 of it. How is this fare?

Very unprofessional as a medical doctor. He conducted himself with poor morale. He walked himself in the patient room without even introducing himself. No questions asked before he reached out and touched my daughters injured fingers and when he was advised to not touch her hand he went to say he is a doctor and would not allow you to speak and continued to interrupt you without care. I advised to him he is being rude and unprofessional and he advised right after to not tell him how to speak to his patients in his office. Horrible and unprofessional and I hope he humbles himself to sit back and listen instead of having the I am the doctor and you’re the patient attitude so I could treat you however I feel because your in my office. He kicked us out because he was being told how unprofessional he was conducting himself.

This office is wonderful! Really enjoyed our visit. We saw him for scoliosis and he is such a nice surgeon! The entire staff was so sweet!

Dr. Jeffers and his staff are very compassionate. Dr. Jeffers diagnosed by daughter and set us both at easy with his plan of care.

Great doctor and Nurse

My son needs elbow surgery after bad sport injury. I'm glad I choose Dr. Kenneth Jeffers. Now my son feel very comfortable and able play sport again. Thanks Dr. Jeffers

I would never refer this physician to anyone. Very poor bedside manor. Dr. Jeffers is harsh and rude. He told my daughter that her arm was deformed and implied that I was a bad mother for not bringing her in sooner. I had to inform the doctor that I did take my daughter to urgent care and that they did not report any issue until the xray results were reviewed; and that I was the one that insisted on a splint for my child's wrist. Initially, I was told there was no injury by urgent care. I also had to inform Dr. Jeffers that it took a week to get an appointment. His attitude was negative and unprofessional. He also tried to belittle me for asking questions about his treatment plan and wanting to call a family member to share his recommendation. He walked into the room, shook our hands, and said your daughter needs a cast without even looking at her wrist. I simply asked if the cast was necessary or if a splint was a viable option based on the diagnosis I was given by urgent care. He… scoffed. He proceeded to get defensive and his PA was very much in alignment with his bully tactics. I felt very uncomfortable and demeaned in front of my child whom was also upset by this. She felt pressured at age 10 to get the cast because he called her deformed and was mean. Totally unacceptable. I waited to do this review until after the cast was removed. Thankfully, we did not see Dr. Jeffers at the follow up appointment. Also, the discharge paperwork had multiple typos and no letterhead. Very unprofessional to say the least.

Although my son's broken finger was addressed in the end successfully, I have serious concerns regarding the way the Xray technician handled safety issues with my 9 year old son. At first she gave him an oversized vest which kept his upper chest and neck exposed. When I asked for neck, upper chest and arm (sleeves) protection she became defensive. Why would one not air on the side of caution? I have serious concerns about all the kids visiting this office if this is the level of professionalism.

We were charged $700, in addition to normal fees, for the doctor to tell us to get an orthopedic boot from Amazon for my daughter's ankle fracture. Dr. Jeffers agreed it was an excessive billing charge in hindsight, but he said he could not go back and discount us. After many attempts to get a break (we even offered to pay half), we ultimately paid the full amount of $700 for that boot from Amazon. Thank you Dr. Jeffers and thank you Tenet (also unwilling to reduce the bill).

HE IS A BAD DOCTOR, WE WHEN TO IS OFFICE IN BOCA RATON TO SEE HIM ,HE TOLL MY CHILD THAT HER FOOT WAS GOING TO BE DEFORM FOR THE REST OFF HER LIFE ,HOW CAN YOU TELL A 9YEAS OLD LITTLE GIRL THAT ,HE IS A BAD DOCTOR.
