Dr. Kent Steven Lerner, MD

Dr Lerner should not be a practicing orthopedic doctor with his horrible bedside manner and disregard for respecting patients in need for the proper care when injured. Hopefully this review will help future patients to NOT chose Dr Lerner!!

I went to Dr Lerner’s office on a Monday afternoon. I was in the waiting room for 1 hour and 10 minutes waiting to be called in. Once I was in the room I had to wait another 30 minutes for Dr. Lerner. No apology no explanation or anything. Once Dr Lerner opened the door the look of disgust was apparent. I am very overweight but am still a person. It seems like he came in, looked at me and decided I was a waste of his time because I was overweight. The first thing he asked me was “So I have to assume you have been obese your whole life?” If I wasn’t in so much pain I would have jumped off the table and never looked back. Dr. Lerner was rude, inconsiderate and couldn’t be bothered with me because of my weight. If i had been an athlete would I have gotten that treatment? I finished with my appointment, sat in the car and cried. I would never go back to Dr. Lerner and would NOT recommend him to anyone. Not even a dog!!

Went to this doctor for a shoulder problem. He never looks at you when you're trying to explain your problem. Sent me for 2 mo. PT that made me worse. Wrong diagnosis. Very impressed with himself. Found a new excellent doctor. Don't waste your time w ith this incompetent!

HE WAS ACCURATE WITH HIS DIAGNOSIS, HIS OFFICE STAFF IS VERY NICE AND HELPFUL, EXCEPT DID NOT CARE FOR HIS BILLING PERSON RUDE AND DOESNT ALLOW YOU TO TALK.

Dr. Lerner and his entire office staff were kind and helpful from the moment I walked in till I left. I was satisfied with the treatment he is suggesting for me. I would recommend my family and friends to this doctor.

It's so disappointing that one person can ruin an entire practice, but they can and they do. Sue, the front desk worker. She is HIGHLY unfriendly, insensitive and uncaring. Very nasty. If you need to see an orthopedic doctor, you may want to go elsewhere until they get rid of her. The first impression of this practice is certainly not compassion. Thanks, Sue. You know how to make an already bad day worse.

Dr. Lerner is a compassionate physician that takes the time necessary to make an accurate diagnosis and explain all the options available for my condition.

This is my 3rd occasion to go to Dr. Lerner; 1st a shoulder injury, next a left knee torn meniscus and most recently, a right knee torn meniscus. You may not care for him when you initially meet him because he is very business like and not a "jokesy" kind of guy - but his diagnosis and his advice for you is right on the money. He "grows" on you. Trust me, you'll eventually LOVE this guy. His staff are wonderful - all helpful and friendly. Dr. Lerner takes his time with you, asks a lot of questions and overall, I would always recommend him.

Dr. Kent Lerner has been my and my entire family's orthopedic Dr. for more than 25 years. We have built a relationship that 's more than Dr./patient. There has been a trust formed over the years, that you just don't find in your average M.D. Numerous surgeries with different family and friends, Dr. Learner never disapoints, his judgement calls and surgery performances are always right on. Truthfully it may sound crazy, but we never seek second opinions. We know if you want something fixed correctly, you'll trust Dr. Lerner's expertise and opinion.

When you need a doctor who cares you should chose him and the associates who work for him.
