Likely to be one of the PREMIER Orthopedic practices in all of SoCal. And Dr. Suzuki is very representative of the very high quality of the overall practice. (I had a company in VA that computerized more than 120 practices...so I tend to have strong opinions on the way medicine is practiced. But, I tell folks "My opinion is worth every penny you paid for it..." Seriously. Anyhow, from making the staff who helped me make an appointment to the office personnel, and the medical professionals themselves, everyone was extremely professional and knowledgable. I was seen on time, and the check-in process was non-redudant. Very well organized. I was first interviewed by Dr. Suzuki's PA, who documented all the particulars of my situation. She directed me to their in-house X-Ray team and the technician there knew exactly what was needed and got it done quickly and efficiently. Within a couple minutes Dr. Suzuki met with me, having already been briefed by his PA and the x-ray was on the… screen on the wall. He patiently explained exactly what was happening with my knee and then discussed his recommended course of treatment. Wow...so good. (Want to be impressed? Ventura Orthopedics is so much more than Sports Medicine - they can handle ANY ortho-related need. Yes, I'm impressed...and would award more than 5-stars if that were possible.

Saw him for shoulder pain 2/5/24. Xrays were taken. The exam was thorough. He explained what was going on and gave me options for care. Easy to talk to and the explanations were kept simple without medical jargon. Would recommend him for care any time.

Dr. Suzuki, is one of the best doctors at Ventura Orthopedics. I felt totally at ease during my appointment and got all the details of my MRI. He discussed all the possible treatments for my shoulder, and ensured we had all the details we needed to proceed with a surgery. He was described as the "Shoulder guru" by my PCP and he lives up to that!

Saw him as follow up to a knee injury I had that I hadn’t sought treatment for at the time of injury. I was still hurting months later. Primary care had not addressed my concerns over bruising months later. X-rays taken at visit and reviewed thoroughly with me. Questions answered. I would feel comfortable having family treated by him as well.

Dr Suzuki was eager to figure out problems with my left knee. I was scheduled the very next day for a much needed MRI. Thank you Dr. For the prompt appointment.
