Dr. Kevin Alan Copley, MD

I just recently started seeing Dr. Copley and his staff and they gave me same day appointment asi needed to see a obgyn asap becasue of my pregnancy being high risk. I was very pleased at how the staff was with me and happy at how the dr told me what i needed to know.

I have been going to Dr. Copley for years. I appreciate his manner, he puts me at ease during each visit. Dr. Copley keeps me on task with my annual screenings and prepares for things that could arise as I turned 50 this year.

Dr. Copley and his staff helped me through a difficult pregnancy. I had diabetes and high blood pressure and had to have numerous visits with his office and specialists. His office helped me get all my appointments and made the experience so much easier. I had a beautiful girl and would recommend his office to everyone

Worse doctor I have ever been to and I highly regret it.. Teen pregnancy, high risk, and scared.. Instead of being supportive he treated me like I was a joke. He was very rude and always spoke over me never listened. Said awful things to me that no pregnant woman should hear.. “Because of diabetes your baby WILL BE deformed, missing body parts, damaged organs as IT forms, heart failure, brain damage.. and what will you do? Hand the baby to your mom to care for IT” I am a type 1 diabetic for which I take fast acting insulin this man changed my medication to N & R? Which I believe is mainly used for gestational diabetes.. so my sugars were sky high I’m talking 400+ at some point for almost 2 weeks I called many times to let him know it wasn’t working and he wouldn’t even take my call he would pass a message with his receptionist saying to wait it out that my body would eventually get used to it !! I seriously think he wanted my pregnancy to go wrong... Thankfully I got to a new… endocrinologist right away (couldn’t see my current one due to insurance which is why Copley “managed” my diabetes care for a couple of weeks) like I said I highly regret going to him and I can say I hate this man ! I remember being very emotional and scared because of his words. I stayed with him because he was the 2nd doctor I had seen during my pregnancy and I was over half way to being due, insurance and time running kept me there.. my mom went to every visit with me but she didn’t speak English then, his receptionist would translate for her but would leave so much out and I would tell my mom in front of the receptionist what was really being said and she would correct me as if I was lying because she knew it was wrong of Copley to be saying such things.. He labeled me as “stubborn” and said I have daughters I know how it is, you will always think you are right and will always want to win.. every time I had a concern because something didn’t seem right instead of educating me on what was happening!.. the list goes on, I went to him because of great reviews and videos he posted of himself sharing info, very deceiving. This is my experience.. & I wish I would have been brave enough to shut him up, but it’s okay God sees everything and thanks to Him I have a beautiful healthy son!

My first visit, everyone was very kind and I felt comfortable talking with Dr. Copley.

I went to this horrible man several times. I had a few issues that needed to be addressed and he verbally attacked me. I told him that he is NOT a psychologist and should NOT try to diagnose me with anything other than what I was there for. When I had became pregnant he would not let my then fiance in the room with me to hear our baby's heartbeat. I was a high risk pregnancy and was seeing Dr. Duval for that. Dr Duval stitched my cervix and I followed up with this quack. He then proceeded to tell me that I had precancerous cells and needed a sample of my cervix which he did even with stitches in. Turns out I never had precancerous cells and I went into early labor at 25 weeks pregnant a few days after he did the exam. I wouldn't reccomend him to ANYONE and he should have his license taken away! He is the worst doctor I have ever came across! He always made me wait hours once in the room also!

I’ve had four healthy children with his guidance. There were times when tough conversations were needed and they were handled very well. He has little to no turnover in staff and they are great to work with!

I was recommended to Dr. Copley and had a problem which he addressed in plain english and I am recommending him to all my friends

Dr. Copley delivered my last two babies, and I had a great experience. His staff is helpful and pleasant and Sherman Hospital was awesome
