A big “THUMBS UP” for Dr Hayes and his wonderful team! On April 2nd of this year, I underwent my ‘Second’ Heart Procedure performed by Dr Kevin Hayes; and I can say that once again that, not only do I feel better, but am in, ‘awe’ and extremely impressed by his knowledge and talent; as well as that of his entire team! Special Thanks to everyone on the Operating Room team of Nurses and Nursing Assistants for their performance. They all work efficiently, with well-Coordinated Precision, along with Knowledge and Professionalism. All of this while making the patient feel comfortable in a ‘Relaxed’ atmosphere; even with nice ‘background’ music during procedure. This friendliness and expertise extend from the front Reception/Appointment desk, office staff, operating room- ALL -including the final help getting re-dressed to go home. If you are ever in need of a Cardiologist, I would strongly recommend that you contact Dr. Kevin Hayes at St. Michaels Hospital and have confidence that you are… getting the best of care. Dr Hayes was kind, patient and understanding with me during my hospital stay suffering with Afib! He performed an ablation which corrected my problem!

Dr. Hayes has performed two Afib procedures. I am feeling much better and appreciate the excellent care.

My Daddy was in today for an A-fib ablation. He is 83 and was really concerned about the risks. Dr. Hayes and his team took the time to go over everything again with us. They were informative, kind, extremely professional and genuine. He and I felt very comfortable with their knowledge and experience. Everyone involved from the anesthesiologist, nurse, CNAs were just wonderful. I would highly recommend him to anyone! Thanks to all of you for taking such good care of someone so special to me!

I had a safe but scary in-hospital procedure. This group does dozens of these per month but still managed to relate to me one-on-one and made me feel comfortable and cared for.

Dr Hayes is an excellent, caring Doctor. Texarkana is fortunate to have him practicing locally. Dr Hayes listens to your comments and responds in a professional and caring manner. I would highly recommend Dr Hayes to anyone of any age group who desires competent, professional care from a Doctor who truly listens to you.

If anyone is waking during night in afib/tachycardia. Know this “50% of afib is caused by sleep apnea needing a cpap. “. Yes dr Hayes never suggested sleep study test to diagnose the cause of midnight faint achy. Instead he likes to do ablation big bucks. I had one done after being told it would fix it. But 13 mi this later I’m waking again in afib/tachycardia. From sleep apnea. I probably never needed an ablation if dr Hayes would’ve checked for sleep apnea

Dr. Hayes is clearly committed to excellence in his calling as a cardiologist. He has treated my mother (83) for afib x3. My siblings and I have found him to be extremely professional, easy to talk with and....a good listener. I am 64. If (or when) I have cardiac issues, he will be my cardiologist of choice. Hands down.

im alm ost 70, had afibx3, had ablation last wk, severe side effects of the cordorone (amiodarone 400mg) severe constipation ,prunejuice, laxatives, stool soft. didn t work, had to go to 24/7 er clinic. drank mag citrate just for a bowel movement, called his n urse to ask him to change dose or a dif type med, I C ANNOT TOLERATE it. she said no, its healing you, he will wein ya off in 2 mos. time (not if its toxic/poison t o me NOW. this drug, destroys lungs, liver, thyroid, gained 13 pds in one wk, causes blindness and i only have one good eye.l now constant nosebleeds, and now impacted fecal , as its paralyzing? my guts. its POISON .! and when i asked nurse did the ablation stop the arrythmia, she said, "that doesn't matter "(?) i may talk to my ceo lawyer brother for legal advice

I had a sudden incident with my heart and ended up in the hospital. Dr. Hayes was the cardiologist who visited with me, and he was very gracious and informative. He acted as if he had no other patients but me and spent quality time with me answering questions and recommending a wonderful book that I have been reading since. He genuinely seemed concerned about my health. I will definitely be going to him for any cardiac needs.
