Highly Recommend for Narcolepsy

My wife had a very bad infection on her face. This doctor was called from the emergency room to give assistance. The emergency room wanted to admit her to the hospital. This doctor diagnosed her over the phone, the wrong diagnosis by the way.............. and told the emergency room she didn’t need to be admitted. All without ever even seeing an image of the infection. She went to a follow up with this doctor two days later. He was very rude and condescending, got her mixed up with someone else and told her He didn’t know what it was. Luckily the emergency room treated her with antibiotics that covered the real problem. Then he had the nerve to tell her to come back at the end of the week. I will never use this doctor and will tell everyone I can how horrible he is. We have never been treated by anyone in the medical field so unprofessionally.

Dr.Mclauglin takes all the time needed to make sure you understand your condition, what options are available, then goes above and beyond to provide the highest level of surgical care if the condition requires it. It is true that appointments tend to run late in the afternoon, but only because this doctor takes all the time necessary with every patient.

I've been his patient for 3 years now as I had a medical condition which required monitoring and then a very complex surgical procedure. Every visit has been thorough and my surgery results are absolutely perfect. There have been many appointments where I've had to wait beyond my set appointment time, but this is because he will never cut short an appointment just to hurry. He will take as long as needed to ensure all of my questions are answered, and that all of my medical needs are met.

Decent care but at every appointment so far we have not been seen until well over an hour passed the appointment time.

Dr. McLaughlin is an exceptionally gifted and caring physician.

He may or may not be a good doctor but he has no respect for patients time.

He knows a lot of current literature & studies. He is very busy. He teaches & is in his office part time in Covington. He spends time needed with you. Try to get a early appt. afternoon appt never fails at least 2 hours before leaving that office. Staff doesnt like their job. His treatment plans have worked well. When he's not overwhelmed he is nice, receptive to what's going on, & very helpful. I would recommend him.

Dr. McLaughlin removed my 12 year old daughter's tonsils over the Christmas holidays. She was dreading this operation and thought she would feel miserable the whole break. Dr. McLaughlin was marvelous! She never complained of any pain afterwards--he must have a magic touch! Dr. McLaughlin was very kind and reassuring to her. He was thorough in his examinations and spent a great deal of time with us answering both her questions and mine. He even took the time to call us after we got home to see how she was doing. I would highly recommend Dr. McLaughlin to anyone looking for a physician in this field.
