Dr. Keyne Kristin Johnson, MD

Having a child that also has mental issues to complicate things. She is always there no matter how long it takes with him. She is worth the drive from anywhere you have to. Her skills in the OR are just as awesome as her personality. Her staff is just as great.

Dr. Johnson accepted me as her patient last minute after I had an awful experience with my original neurosurgeon. I had never met her or seen her before or even heard of her because she is a pediatric neurosurgeon and I am 31 years old. She took on my case and she absolutely did not have to. She simply did it out of the kindness of her heart and the importance of the surgery that I needed. I have a rare brain condition that has required me to get a VP shunt that unfortunately was not working on its own. She put in an LP shunt for me and I have never felt so comfortable after having a surgery less than 24 hours ago. She is by far the most compassionate and caring doctor I have ever had the pleasure of working with. I am lucky to have met her and I will forever be thankful to her. I recommend her to anybody who is looking for a well-qualified neurosurgeon for their child or maybe even themselves!

Dr. Keyne Johnson performed an ACDF 2level fusion at C4,5 and C5,6. Awesome job!

I found Dr. Johnson and her staff caring and compassionate with their dealings with me. When I called their office they always went the extra mile to help get the appointment time and date I needed. Just prior to surgery, (in the hospital) , Dr. Johnson would stop by to make sure I was completely comfortable, and to sèe if I had any last minute questions or concerns. After surgery, she explained the procedure, and followup. I

Dr. Johnson is a brilliant physician who has saved my family not once, but twice. We are forever grateful for her excellent care.

Meeting Dr Johnson and her staff was great. They treated my child wonderful. Once the Dr came in she immediately diagnosed my child with Metopic Craniosynostosis. She spoke about what the treatment was which was surgery to my infant. Horrible reprocussions with the surgery. When I tried to explain the family history I was blown off and told that had nothing to do with it. After further consideration I reached out and received a second opinion. The second opinion was with the Chief of Nuerology at a children's hospital who reviewed the cat scan with me explaining more in detail of what was being looked at. Once complete with the explanation he even asked about pictures and family genes. He then concluded that the surgery was completely unessessa rye and purely cosmetic! Always opt for a second opinion. I learned my lesson!

Dr. Johnson is wonderful! Our daughter has had over 11 Vp-shunt revisions and moving to a new state was hard for us until we located the most kindhearted, caring, neuro doc ever! She is not only smart, patient focused, she has the patient's best interest at heart. Our daughter is 14 yrs old and very involved in her own care. Dr. Johnson treats her with the utmost respect and listens to all her questions and concerns. FABULOUS office staff as well. :)

Shes so knowledgeable and personable too! Very friendly and definitely knows what shes doing!
