Uncaring Robot!! Unwilling to do simple things help!!

I was treated by Dr. Ponton for several months. During that time I felt that my symptoms got worse instead of better. Once I got in a car accident on the way to her office. When I called to tell her this her response was that she does not see patients who are more than 10min late. Another time she got my name wrong during a session. She was cold and distant. She often asked questions about my past instead of diving into the things that really needed to be addressed and she never offered helpful advice.

Dr. Ponton helped me out of a deep depression. She is very thorough and caught problems my previous psychiatrists overlooked. Her approach in combining medication with therapy is ideal for me. I highly recommend her to anyone willing to do the work and really wanting to get better.

Best psychiatrist I've seen!

She started late, ended early, then announced she didn't have enough information to try anything new. I didn't feel that she showed much empathy towards me or my situation. I needed help and she wanted to first talk to several other people in my healthcare circle. This took me by surprise and left me in the same condition I came in with. I don't know if she was just being very careful or what. I went back to someone I had seen earlier. He wrote a prescription without hesitation and I have been fine ever since. For $350 or more for an initial visit, I expected her to figure things out. Maybe I expected too much. For me, a waste of money.

I've suffered from Bulimia for many years and have seen many physicians. It wasn't until I started treatment with Dr. Ponton that I finally was able to get better. She changed my life and I am eternally grateful.

Dr. Ponton has been my psychiatrist for the past year. She has completely changed my life. I came to her in a very bad place. She is empathetic, thorough in her evaluation, and has excellent medical judgment. I've seen a lot of doctors over the years and no one has helped me as much as she has.

She was rude and didn't care to really listen. She showed no sympathy and instead judged me. I left feeling sad and betrayed. She is the worst doctor I have ever encountered.
