Dr. Kingsley Chiedu Okafor, MD

I had a procedure to reduce the pressure in my eyes. I was very nervous with the first eye but was put at ease when Dr Oakafer started explaining exactly what he was doing. The second eye was a walk in the park. I have worked with several surgeons throughout my career and you get to know quickly know who the exceptional surgeons are. Dr Oakafer is beyond exceptional! Yes he does speak fast at times but he clearly warns you of that and will deliberately slow down and ask questions to make sure you are understanding his every direction. He truly is one of the GREATS.

I highly recommend Dr Okafor. He is very knowledgeable, presented all the options and answered all the questions that I had. He did not make me feel rushed and yet he and the staff were very efficient.

The visit went well I could not believe that my appointment was on time usually running behind by a half hour or more Always seems to be in a rush making you reluctant to ask questions also I feel that he talks down to me which makes me uncomfortable.

Dr. Okafor is unbelievable the best ophthalmologist. He is very caring and he tells you what is going on. I would highly recommend Dr. Okafor to anybody who wants a great ophthalmologist. I feel very, very, very fortunate to have him as my ophthalmologist and lucky to have found him.

Dr. Okafor made sure I understood everything that was going on. He was polite and very understanding about my concerns and my need for my pilot medical certificate. I would highly recommend him for eye surgery.

Dr Okafor is always nice and really seems knowledgeable; I trust him. He just always seems so busy that I feel that he’s rushing through the appointment to get to the next patient. I know doctors don’t have an easy job, but a personal touch is important, at least to me. He rattles off stats to his assistant and I’m pretty sure most of us have no idea what they mean. An explanation would be helpful. Cody is great- the staff is always friendly and helpful.
