Dr. Kirn Jain, MD

This doctor placed a healthy female on a new blood pressure medication and cholesterol medication without any follow up. 12 months later at the annual visit, blood work reveals liver damage and tumors. With proper, timely follow up, this could've been caught and treated in its early phase. Then, the doctor drops her as a patient and says "I'll let the oncologist handle everything. "

SHE IS A GREAT AND CARING DOCTOR

Dr. Jain is very careful in her investigation of possible problems, which is what I look for in a doctor. I have been seeing her about 3-4 times a year depending on the issues she is following. I have always found the office very efficient and responsive. I never have to wait more than 10-15 minutes to see Dr. Jain.

I've been to Dr. Jain about 5 times over 4 years. Each time she made me feel like my problems were not serious. I went in once for dizzy spells and she did and EKG and said I think you're fine. The next time I went in with severe anxiety from stopping my medications and she literally looked at me and sai " What do you want me to do about it?" Are you kidding??? I also stated I didn't want to be back on SSRI's because of how dangerous they are and she stated that it was my only option. I left almost in tears, She also performed a urine drug test on me without my knowledge. She told me she just wanted some blood test for my symptoms. I'm guessing she assumed I was a drug seeker. All the drug screens were negative, so screw her.

This year we had to switch doctors because our doctor did not accept our insurance anymore. My husband went to the ED earlier in the year and we therefore had to look for a new PCP promptly. After calling three different doctors, I was very frustrated with trying to make an initial visit; most of the offices said that the earliest available appointment would be in 3-4 weeks. Dr. Kirn was able to see my husband right away. Then it was my turn. I went to the ED on a Thursday, Dr. Kirn's office was able to schedule me the next day. Although, I could not make that appointment, she was able to fit me in by Tuesday. This was a plus for me because my neighbor was telling me that she waited four hours in her doctor's office waiting to be seen and I only waited approximately 10 minutes. Dr. Kirn was very friendly, knowledgeable, relaxed and was open to questions.

I have been going to Dr. Jain for about 8 months and she was referred to me by a relative. I have been very impressed by Dr. Jains professionalism and the care that she has shown me. She always takes time for my concerns and I get the feeling that she takes my health very seriously, almost as if I was a relative to her. Her Nurses are so helpful and go out of their way to assist me. When I call on the phone I'm always greeted in a way that makes me feel at home. I have also gotten the same feelings with Dr. Jains receptionist. There is no doubt in my mind that Dr. is highly educated in her decisions when it comes to my health improvements.

Dr. Jain is a serious, competent doctor who stays on top of latest research. Like many doctors, she could be a bit more warm and personable but she does know her specialty and that's what counts the most in doctors, of course.I think she would be diligent in investigating medical problems to get down to the cause. The whole practice is quite efficient.I've never waited more than 10 minutes when I've made an appointment in advance and I promptly get reports and notes from the doctor when information needs to be communicated. The lab is right down the hall so most basic testing can be done right then and there. I've always gotten in quickly if I need to be seen for a more urgent issue. So, I'm quite happy with Dr. Jain and that practice and have been a patient there for quite a while.
