Made my daughter cry. This is a very unhappy woman. She does not listen and told my daughter that she should have called sooner and that there was nothing she could do. Just wasted her time and was so so so very rude. Looks like this is a running theme with her

I trust my eyes and my family’s eyes only to Dr. Desai. Prompt, friendly and super competent. Dr. Desai is wonderful.

I would not recommend Komal Desai if you are searching for a reputable ophthalmologist. I have no reason to believe she is not qualified medically. However, her billing practices and personal demeanor are unprofessional. After speaking with Dr. Desai about her charges and coding, and with no resolve, I contacted the Billing Dept. at Sabates, the clinic where Dr. Desai practices. They too were confused about the charges and referred me back to the doctor. When I questioned over the phone Dr. Desai's charges and practices, she was obviously irritated and raised her voice to me. Her bullying was not effective and so she stated she didn't want me as a patient. With most physicians offering ethical and professional services, experiencing this type of behavior is unacceptable and unnecessary. Beware.

This was the worst experience I have ever had!! My regular eye doctor recommend me there to see her and I came out in tear, she was rude to me, didn't even explain what was wrong and then told me I had to follow up in 2 weeks- I'm dreading that appointment

not really listening and giving adequate attention to patient, especially patient is from health care field, like coming in and coming out. Totally at a non busy hour, and treating patient like a number
