Dr. Kraig Robert Pepper, DO

I have been going to Dr. Pepper for about 2 years now, the Doctor himself is good, and Robbie the PA is excellent as well. BUT the girl who schedules his surgery is worthless, very hard to get in touch with, does not return phone messages in a timely manner. I was scheduled to have a hip procedure done, and they knew what insurance I had, the day of the out patient procedure, I arrive at the surgical clinic only to be told by the surgical clinic they had not received the authorization from my insurance company. So I call Dr. Peppers surgery scheduler and she once again sets up another appt. for the same procedure and tells me she will make sure she gets the authorization in plenty of time. She never calls me back to tell me it is a go, but yet the surgical clinic has told me what day and time to come in for the procedure. I call my insurance company only to be told they do not cover that particular procedure at a surgical center. Meanwhile I am in so much pain with my hip, I… cannot even lift it high enough to get in the car without screaming out in pain. I KNOW that no one would want their loved one to be in that much pain. As of today the 9th of March it has been well over a month and I still have not heard back from the surgical scheduler. Very bad people that Dr. Pepper has working for him. They make it seem like you are not important at all. When in fact the patients are the ones who pay their salary!

I had both knees replaced by Dr Pepper, with great results. although the recovery is not painless, Dr Pepper is very caring and patient with all questions. Would highly recommend him to anyone. Betty Jo Williams

Dr. Pepper is very kind and knows exactly what he is doing! His PA is just as kind and knowledgeable. All of his staff are great and efficient at taking care of his patient's needs! I strongly recommend him as the best Orthopedic Doctor in Fort Worth!

I have Been a customer of Dr. Pepper in his Granbury office for many years. I have gone to the FTW office a handful of times and refuse to go back. The girl that is the receptionist in Granbury doesn’t work in the other office no longer. She is so kind. When you see her in town she maintains her professionalism, and always calls you by name. Her and Dr even sent me flowers when I was going through a hard patch. Dr is so kind and gentle. He Always speaks to you with kindness and treats you like a good friend. I truly love the Granbury office.

Excellent and caring doctor

I had to wait two months for an appointment after a very painful shoulder injury. The staff on the phone was an abomination. I finally got in to see a PA who told me I needed surgery and they were so booked it would be another two to three months with a torn shoulder. No pain meds or PT. I was told I could go find a pain clinic. Really? For an acute injury that requires surgery? I was able to schedule surgery five weeks later. I never even met Dr. Pepper until I was in preop and I haven’t seen him since. I had major problems three weeks after surgery and couldn’t get seen. The receptionist told me there were no appointments available for two weeks. I spent some time begging to be seen by my surgeon but no luck. I had to go to an ER instead. I ended up with a blood clot in my arm.

Having waited for a referral for an MRI for 6 months, I decided to pay out of pocket for my own. Was told to call the doctors office as soon as it was done to schedule an appt for the results/prognosis. Waited 2 weeks, still heard nothing from them. Finally got a hold of them and they were rude, and didn’t have an appt for another 6 weeks. My daughter hasn’t been able to walk without pain for months, and they want me to wait another 6 weeks,....seriously. The telephone operator was extremely rude and I had to remind her who pays the bills for these services. I would NOT recommend this doctor to my worse enemy. No care given whatsoever. Service is a joke, change the office staff and be a bit more compassionate about your patients.
