Dr. Kristin Mckenzie Alves, MD

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Alves! I broke my leg and had to have surgery. She has such a cheerful and calming personality. She was very knowledgeable with all my questions and I had no doubt in my mind that I was in good hands when I went back to the OR. My post-op visit was the same experience. Super compassionate and overall cheerful personality. Couldn’t have picked a better orthopedic doctor!

Dr. Alves and her assistant Christina are the absolute best orthopedic team in the area! We have been seeing Dr. Alves for a little over two years since before our son was born with bilateral clubfoot. At the first visit I knew we were in good hands as she was sure to address any concerns we already had. She has been an absolute blessing during our boys journey. The staff know him as soon as he walks in and are always so happy to see each of my children. Dr. Alves and Christina are such a joy and always greet us with such excitement! Dr. Alves is super knowledgeable and very informative with any questions and is sure to explain in ways that we as parents will understand. We absolutely looked forward to our visit every 4 months. The communication is superb. They respond to all my messages in a very timely manner and are always so polite. I could not be more pleased with the care my son has received and continues to receive and each visit. There are absolutely no words to express the… gratitude my family and I have for Dr. Alves and Christina! While we look forward to being in the last two years of his clubfoot treatment we will be so sad to end care with Dr. Alves. This woman is a real life super hero and we absolutely love her! This doctor is horrible, selfish and I would never recommend her to anyone. We were in the office waiting to check in for our appointment and the receptionist was taking forever with the person in front of us. She then proceeded to leave the office after I had driven an hour to the appointment. She is the absolute worst. I would tell anyone to stay far away from this narcissistic woman

Our son has seen multiple orthopedic for toe walking from CO, SC, TX and now NC. She is the first orthopedic surgeon I’ve meet that truly knew what she was talking about, she’s smart! And she likes kids and just watching how she engaged with my son, I knew we were in good hands.

I really appreciated her welcome, I felt very comfortable. Thank you for your service.
