Lamya Ibrahim, MD

Dr. Lamya Ibrahim is a neurologist who specializes in diagnosing and treating disorders of the brain, spinal cord, and nervous system. She completed her residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston in 2023 and finished her fellowship at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in 2025. Dr. Ibrahim is board certified in neurology through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology as of 2023. She is fluent in both Arabic and English.

Dr. Ibrahim practices at JFK University Medical Center and sees patients at the JFK New Jersey Neuroscience Institute in Edison, New Jersey. Her clinical expertise includes caring for patients with acute flaccid myelitis, a rare condition affecting the spinal cord. She also treats individuals with Alzheimer's disease and helps manage patients experiencing ataxia, which affects coordination and balance.
