Dr. Lamya Ibrahim, MD

Dr. Lamya Ibrahim is a neurologist who specializes in diagnosing and treating disorders of the brain, spinal cord, and nervous system. She completed her residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston in 2023 and is currently pursuing a fellowship at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, which she will complete in 2025. Dr. Ibrahim is board certified in Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology as of 2023. She is fluent in both Arabic and English.

Dr. Ibrahim practices at the JFK New Jersey Neuroscience Institute in Edison, New Jersey. Her expertise includes treating serious neurological conditions such as acute flaccid myelitis, which affects the spinal cord and can cause muscle weakness. She also cares for patients with Alzheimer's disease, helping families navigate memory loss and cognitive changes. Additionally, she treats ataxia, a condition that affects coordination and balance.
