Dr. Lance Vermillion Scott, MD

Absolutely the worst patient care I have seen in a very long time. I do not recommend this practice. Not even worth the one star but I had to before I could leave this review.

I have detached retina issues and vision left only in one eye so I need a dependable doctor and one that responds to messages for call backs. I’m new to OK from TX and had a nice 10 year relationship with my doctor and this one here not sure how he works therefore looking for another specialist I can depend on.

Horrible experience!! Damaged my eye so bad that I was afraid to seek out the care I needed to preserve my eyesight, now threatening to ruin my credit and demands I pay $38.51 or after I had already paid my co-payment and my insurance had paid him several hundred dollars. Obliviously, he's more interested in a few pennies than caring for people!! I feel like he owes me for time lost from work because I looked like something out of a horror movie for months even though he said it would go away in a couple off weeks.

Dr Scott is amazing. After one retina surgery failing by a pervious doctor I went into Dr Scott with two detached retinas, one in each eye. I was completely blind and very fearful of things due to my first experience with a retina doctor. Dr Scott's amazing team of very skilled nurses and office staff got me in immediately to see him and the next day cleared his schedule to preform his first double Vitrectomy (vitreous surgery) as he had never seen this happen before. My pain was well managed, the swelling and bruising around my eyes was minimal compared to my previous surgery (previous surgery performed by different dodcot) and gone within 2 weeks. My first experience with his staff over the phone, in office, and at the hospital was more than pleasant each time. Dr Scott and his nurses are not rough with your eyes instead very gentle, paying close attention to detail. The nurses have compassion For every patient and concerned family member that comes in the office. And have a very… beautiful office (that I first saw after my 5th appointment). I was without my vision and blind for a little over 2 weeks. I can now see thanks to Dr Scott's knowledge and willingness to make a difference. 5+ stars for Dr Scott and his miracle team. You all helped saved my life!

Dr. Scott has taken care of my husband for a few years now. In 2012 he had some laser eye surgery done that went terribly wrong and left him legally blind. We were encouraged by our regular eye Dr. to see Dr. Scott and he has been helping my husband ever since. He was sent for cataract surgery that restored some of his sight and Dr. Scott has been following him for his diabetic retinopathy since then. Dr. Scott is very nice and professional, all his staff are friendly and caring people. As a RN myself in the nursing field for 40 years, I know good doctors and he is definitely a great doctor.

Dr. Lance V. Scott saved my right eye from blindness as it was deteriorating from a macular hole. He is an outstanding doctor to whom I would trust my children and grandchildren's vision. His staff are professional, thorough and friendly, a good reflection of Dr. Scott's high level of standards!

One of the most knowledgeable and nicest doctor I've ever been to. His Scleral buckle surgery for my retinal detachment was a complete success. His eye exams are always so thorough and if you ever need an emergency visit, his office staff will squeeze you in between his appointments.
