Dr. Lauren Wood Tracy, MD

Dr. Lauren Tracy is an otolaryngology-head and neck surgery specialist who earned her medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine. She completed her residency training at the University of North Carolina Health System, building expertise in ear, nose, and throat conditions. With 14 years of medical experience, Dr. Tracy has developed particular skills in treating complex voice and throat disorders.

Dr. Tracy practices at Boston Medical Center locations throughout Boston and Brighton, Massachusetts. She specializes in helping patients with voice problems and vocal cord dysfunction, including the complex condition known as spasmodic dysphonia. Her surgical expertise includes performing fiberoptic pharyngoscopy to examine the throat, flexible laryngoscopy for voice box evaluation, and direct rigid laryngoscopy procedures when more detailed examination is needed.
