I can't praise Dr. Costello highly enough. I've gone to him for 13 years now and he has been responsive to my many ups and downs with bipolar disease and has always found a way to help.

Not a hand holding type, keeps things real. Sincerely cares.

I have been a patient of Dr. Costello for over a decade for depression, anxiety, and ADHD and am shocked at the few negative reviews on here. I have found him to be very warm and caring. He always takes the time to really listen to what I have to say, carefully notes my symptoms, and helps me truly understand the medications I'm prescribed. He always goes out of his way to speak with me about my life issues and offers non-medicinal solutions as well. Any time I have a problem with a medication or need advice, I can leave a message and always hear back from him within 24 hours, even on weekends. I highly recommend Dr. Costello.

I was a patient of Dr. Costello a long time ago. My impression of him then was that he was cold and I was to find out later, short tempered. One day I called in to ask a question from the receptionist and she put my call through directly to the doctor. I did not ask or want her to do this. When he picked up the line, he literally yelled at me for attempting to speak to him directly. I was stunned. He also started my medications at an exceedingly low dose when I was clearly extremely ill, and ramped up the dose way, way too slowly. Therefore, I stayed ill for a very long time before improving. If you are looking for a caring, sensitive doctor that you feel support from keep looking.

Dr. Costello is snooty, uncaring and after charging me $400 then told me he "could not" treat me.
