Dr. Lee Dante Mendiola, MD

Dr. Mendiola is the best doctor !! He has hepled me with my anxiety and depression. I have referred patients to him. That's how much I trust him!!!

Dr. Mendiola staffs out doctors who have been excellent...until 2020 began. Now uses a nurse practitioner who decides to arbitrarily change medications, without discussion. A front desk employee is rude. She tries to be nice but it's just too painful for her. So sad...

Dr. Mendiola has been very kind and personable to me ever since I have been a patient. They are very busy, so if you reschedule, it can take a few weeks to get a new appointment. When you call, it is a voicemail directory, which isn't ideal, but someone always gets back to me. Overall, my experiences have been pleasant, and I would recommend him as a doctor.

I was a patient of Dr. Mendiola's for the better part of this year. He's qualified but made some inappropriate sexual and insensitive remarks during our visits. He's quick to push TMS treatment and insists on it often, so maybe not the best choice if you're looking for more traditional treatment. His administrative/front desk staff is hit or miss and can be equally insensitive and rude, especially poor for a mental health facility where patients might be struggling already.

Dr. Mendiola and his staff are the best and amazing!! They have helped make a challenging time in my life bearable. Melissa and all the other cute guys and dolls there are super friendly just like Lee! He suggested the TMS treatment and I figured I had nothing to lose, but it changed my life!! I did not believe that was possible, but here I am experiencing a rebirth of my old self and feeling pretty darn good more often than not.I could not have done it without the care, kindness and compassion of Lee and his incredible staff! If I could remember all their names I would certainly be including them, but the TMS unfortunately did not improve my terrible memory!

My experience with Dr. Mendiola (and TMS) was a very positive one. Not earth-shattering, but it definitely improved my depression. The first and biggest thing I noticed about three weeks into it was that I no longer had that black cloud following me around. I got out of bed more easily and out of the house. My concentration improved both socially as well as at work. I slept a little better and I dreamt more, which I think is a healthy thing. I became aware that my brain was sending out good signals, and I felt better. I thought less negative thoughts, and I thought them less often and didnâ??t dwell on them. I am very fortunate and grateful to have been given this treatment. They were even able to schedule my sessions conveniently around my work schedule. I would encourage anyone to give it a shot.

I am a different person than I was one year ago when I first came to see Dr. Mendiola. I am so thankful that I came across him as I had been struggling for my whole life and trying a myriad of medications and other things for at least 10 years to help alleviate the effects. He is incredibly brilliant at assessing your issues and prescribing the right medications (if needed) for it. He is genuine and pleasant to interact with which makes the visits and discussing personal information easier. My experience with him has literally changed my life.

Little man with big office and even bigger ego. Don't bother with him as he most certainly won't bother with you. His style....? a cursory questionnaire and a prescription pad!

He is courteous, has a sense of humor and eases that uncomfortable feeling that you are predisposed to have when visiting a psychiatrist. He is open to new ideas and when a new medication comes on the market, he thinks of his patients that it might help. He is on time. His staff is really sweet. As comfortable as it gets in a psychiatrist's office.
