Dr. Lee Samuel Spencer, MD

While Dr. Spencer is a fantastic doctor we sought out and knew from the Dallas Community, his business practices are predatory. They won't remind you of any appointments and use Simple Practice Software, which can automate reminders for patients. I know this because other doctors we work with use the same software and send two to three reminders. While serving a population of clients who suffer from Severe Mental Health Disorders, you would think they would send an automated reminder or a call. Think again. They expect you, someone with severe mental health issues, to log in to the app and know when you're supposed to be there as a first-time patient. We got neither; I recently moved my brother here from New York. I'm 33, he's 30, we lost our parents earlier on, and I have been taking care of him for six years. We hired a recovery coach who helped us book this meeting, and we had some miscommunication, and we missed our appointment. Yes, I understand it's a policy, but it takes… advantage of sick people without any reminder for a new patient. If you make an appointment here, they won't remind you and will charge you an additional $300 on top of the $600 to see the doctor, and if you don't pay the $300, you cant see Dr. Spencer, but you can see his PA.
