Dr Tan is an excellent neurosurgeon. He's helped restore my health to a huge degree, with compassion, expertise and a really great team. UCSF is now top on my list.

I feel as if I saw a whole different side to this doctor after he completed my surgery. Every question was met with a vague answer or explanation.

Dr Tan and his team are great communicators, always offering timely responses, flexibility in the timing of my treatment plan, and steadfast direct course in view. I feel I am in excellent hands. I really appreciate Dr Tan's supportive language that he is looking forward to helping me feel better. This was such an encouraging thing to hear, and kept the focus towards healing potential and trajectory. I feel Informed and optimistic. Thank you.

Dr. Lee A. Tan is a great Neurosurgeon. He is young, very intelligent and very kind. He takes his time to explain everything and has good follow through. I will not let anyone touch my spine by Dr. Tan.

I had really bad pain in my right arm and weakness that was getting worse for almost a year. I tried everything but nothing helped... I went to see Dr. Tan because he treated one of my friends who had great results. He saw my MRI and immediately identified the problem! I have neck surgery and my pain is completely gone and my arm strength is now back to normal!! Dr. Tan is a great surgeon and I would highly recommend him to anyone!

I have bad problems with my neck and was having severe neck and arm pain, and I was also having balance problems. Dr. Tan diagnosed my problems and fixed my neck! I now have my life back! Great surgeon and an amazing doctor!
