Dr. Lee Tessler, MD

I was able to get an appointment within days of calling for an appointment. Upon meeting Dr. Tessler, he immediately calmed my fears. He has excellent bedside manner and he explained everything to me clearly and reassuringly, in terms I understood. He answered all my questions. He is an excellent neurosurgeon, as well as a compassionate human being. Once I met with him I was no longer nervous about the surgery as I had full confidence in his abilities. I had a lot of contact with his nurse practitioner, Michelle, and she was also wonderful. A really great team! I felt very well taken care before, during and after my surgery. He is one, if not the most, competent doctor I have every been treated by. I would have no qualms in recommending him to friends and family.

Dr. Tessler made my situation that I had no time to think about seem like everything was going to be fine. He explained everything to me in a way that I could understand. He and his team were fantastic before, during and after my surgery. They are amazing. If you ever find yourself in a situation he is the one to go to!

Dr. Tessler, is very thorough in explaining the procedure in layman term to the best of his ability. The course of my initial visit, especially during the course of my hospital confinement up to post op-follow was excellent care under his service along with his team. We highly recommend Dr.Tessler

Dr Tessler is personable and understanding. The staff are sweet and accommodating. Dr Tessler explains all necessary information throughly and understandable. He answers all concerns and questions and puts you at ease. Dr Tessler recently performed surgery on my brain and I can’t tell you enough what a good job he did as well as the surgical staff who assisted. I would highly recommend him to all I come in contact with.

Surgery was smooth. Dr did a great job at hiding the scar. Hospital was unable to get me into ICU. Did not have enough nursing staff overnight in recovery. Could’ve been managed better. Catheter should’ve been kept in for 1st night since so many IV liquids. Otherwise ok.
