Dr. Leonard Ari Sukienik, DO

Dr. Sukienik is very knowledgeable. He is a good listener and always ready to help. His staff is amazing.

Dr. Sukienik is an exceptional internist!!! He takes his time, thoroughly explains everything about any test results he ordered, and patiently answers any questions I have. He has expertise and knowledge. I am grateful he is my internist.

Disappointing. I had my physical 10 months ago and have had 3 more appointments since with Dr. Sukienik. That is 4 appointments in a year. My specialists require 3-4 appointments in a year. As a “vulnerable, high-risk individual” under 65, I would be able to get the Covid vaccine sooner with a doctor’s note indicating I have autoimmune issues. When I called up to request a note, I was told I had to “go in for an appointment and I need to keep up with my appointments better.” I questioned this and was also told that because I take medications I had to go in more. To clarify, the medications I take are prescribed by specialists whom I follow up with as well. I am not given any medications or refills by Dr. Sukienik. I think 4 appointments in 10 months is enough to grant me this request. Noteworthy, when I was in there last, I was treated poorly. The nurse refused to wear a mask. When I asked her to please wear a mask, she got angry and said she felt fine.

Been my primary care physician for approximately 15 yrs & very thorough and informative as well as his friendly staff.

We find his office staff to be pleasant, professional and immediately responsive. We never have to call twice for a prescription refill or any other medical need. He listens, is helpful and never rushes us. Physicians rarely understand how much damage their staff can do but Dr. S has a staff that enhances the reputation of his practice. He handles referrals, if needed, promptly and is a competent physician with a very good bedside manner.

Dr Sukienik and his staff have been phenomenally caring, attentive, and professional. I was referred to his office by a friend whose family has been under his care for 12+ years. I've lived in South Florida since 1981 and have never felt more confident and comfortable with a physician. The office is clean, in an ideal location, with a pleasant waiting room. The staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome and cared for, and follow-up by phone promptly, as promised. The doctor really listens, discusses test results and options, and invites my input as we decide the best course for my overall health. I am pleased by the care I've received, and I encourage you to consider him if you're in the Western Communities. I think you'll be glad you did. I am very grateful to have found him. He's is one of a kind.

The Doctor has no clue that his office manage could care less about the patients and is turning patients away from his practice!

I do would not recommend this office to anyone.

Could not get an appointment. RUDE staff talks over you when you are trying to speak. Called for an appointment Thursday morning and the person who answered the phone seemed very irritated. Said she would call me back and then hung up on me without asking my number. I waited thinking she had it from called ID. Called again Monday. She was once again irritated and wouldn't let me speak. Said she'd call back. Never did. I called again Tuesday and received the same bad attitude. Finally she informed me it would be three weeks before an appointment could be made but was not helpful in making one. I've been to Dr. Sukienik in the past. He is a caring man and I don't think he knows just how uncaring and snippy his staff is. Sad.
