Dr. Leslie Daryll Cahan, MD

Doctor Cahan placed a VP shunt on my son at two years old. My son is now 14 years old and continues living a normal life with the same shunt from 2011. Even though he is not too friendly with patients, he is just upfront, honest, and sincere when he needs to show some sympathy to parents. He is the best doctor in Los Angeles. I was diagnosed with hydrocephalus at a very young age. Ever since putting in the shunt, Doctor Cahan and his team helped me to live a normal life; there were some times that I even forgot that I have the shunt. Although he is retired now, his assistant [I believe] (back in the days, now my primary doctor looking over my case) continues helping me.

In 1988 Dr. Cahan gave me a second chance at life by removing part of my right frontal lobe (about the size of an egg) to eliminate epileptic seizures. The tests and visits were through Walter Reed at UCLA and the surgery performed at UCI.

Is 1992 I had surgery to control grand mal seizures, Dr. Cahan removed a tumor that was causing my grand mal seizures, He is a great doctor.

14 years ago, Dr. Cahan operated on my 3 year old son. He had an astrocytoma. Had it not been for Dr. Cahan, my son would have died. If you need Dr. Cahan, my prayers are with you, but, you are in great hands.
