Dr. Leslie D Edison, DO

I have been with Dr. Edison for over 25 years now. My wife and RN recommended that I use her as a doctor. She took a baseline EKG many years ago and explained it was for later years. She takes the time to explain what is going on and why I need certain changes in my diet or various supplements. Sometimes, I get a Physicians assistant, however, they seem to be as good as she is. Glad to be her patient.

Have to keep calling to have them send meds to pharmacy; they dont seem to care!!!

I was fortunate to run into Dr Leslie Edison while waiting to be seen at a free walk in clinic on Hatcher in Phoenix. The place was a zoo with kids running and screaming in the wait room. I had injured my knee and a Doc from another clinic told me I had deformed knees and to live with it. Dr Leslie looked around the wait room and took my hand and we went to a room that looked like a closed lunch room where she examined the knee and confirmed the injury. She was so very comforting and explained the problem in detail. I felt like a preferred customer in a gift shop. When she was finished I asked her if I could become a her patient but sadly she wasn't in private practice. That was a long time ago and tonight I recognized her in the Baptist Hospital brochure and will ask her tomorrow to accept me as a patient. I really hope she will . She is the kind of Doc who really treats the whole person not just a spot on a limb. Wish me luck.

I have yet to see Dr. Edison It's always with a NP. Staff are very unprofessional, borderline rude.

She conveyed disinterest and was dismissive of my symptoms despite the fact that she was aware of my family history of multiple sclerosis. And she failed to run diagnostic tests. During my final visit, I mentioned my fatigued had lessened; her response was "Let me guess, you have a boyfriend"! Excuse me?? I could not believe such condescension and stupidly would come out of the month of a female doctor. I immediately switched doctors. On my first visit with the new doctor an MRI was ordered and I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. I am still angry about the time that was lost in getting the needed treatment - and her disgusting attitude.

Even though I believe that Dr. Edison is a good doctor, I have to admit that I am changing doctors since my time is valuable. Each and every time that I have been there, I have spent at least 3 -4 hours there which I fee is unacceptable. In addition, when I called in to get my prescriptions refilled when the doctor was "on vacation", it was NEVER completed. I am a professional male that has a job and my time is valuable. I cannot be spending 3-4 hours waiting in a small room for the doctor to come see me.

First visit was like arriving on the wrong day. sit and wait and wait some more.staff runs out of excuses and lies for the Dr. cause she is either high or not there in the office. always has excuses either no sleep or family problems. death comes faster than your visit. its like waiting for a accident waiting to happen. no one knows what they are doing. cant get referrels or script refills for weeks. by than your in the emergency room. the blame game sets in. if you dont mind waiting hours for your visit and some time days bring your meals with you or sleeping bag. good luck to you all.
